VS Donuts Croissants — Restaurant in Norwalk

I got the Ham Egg and Cheese Bagel. It was the fluffiest, most delicious bagel sandwich EVER.

I remember it like it was yesterday….

I was traveling South on Studebaker, with a slight rumble in my stomach, and the need for a 2nd cup of coffee….

…as I approached Firestone, I spotted the 7-eleven at my 1 o’clock….

…my original plan was to get a Medium coffee and a 2 pack of Chocolate Chunk Cookies to hold me up. I parked directly in front of the 7-eleven.

When I got out of my truck, at a short distance, off my right peripheral, I spotted the donut shop…Initially, I thought I would pivot to a Chocolate Old Fashioned Donut to pair with my coffee. So, I made the walk across the shopping center to see what this little shop had to offer…

Before opening the door to enter, my attention went to the window menu which showcased their wide assortment and selection of breakfast sandwiches…I thought, 🤔 two pivots in a span of 2 minutes?! Had I gone mad with hunger? 😳

Entering the shop, I could feel the scent of fresh bagels! That’s when I knew it was the right move.

So without hesitation, I ordered my sammie as described above. As a pair of Chocolate Old Fashioned Donuts looked at me as I betrayed them. The coffee was fine, but forgettable, since the sammie stole the show. As the curtains went up, my taste buds formed a line, center stage, and proceeded to dance and high kick like the Rockettes in Radio City Hall.

To this day, I can still hear the crowd roar. Come back to me...

We absolutely love this place. It is clean, the food is Awesome 👏🏽 , and the customer service is 100%!! They have breakfast sandwiches from bagels to croissants as well as regular sandwiches on their menu. These are not just any breakfast sandwiches/sandwiches, they are delicious and I would rather give my money to a small business in my community who deserves it. They also have iced drinks, hot drinks, and blended drinks, it’s just amazing, no matter what you order they always surprise you with some glazed donut holes in your order. Yesterday my son and I went to grab some coffee , a breakfast sandwich and a doughnut and this is what I bought home to sit down with and indulge in while beating this heat. Yes !! a chocolate bar that was filled with real whipping cream and it literally melted in my mouth. PLEASEEEE do not stop making these cream filled chocolate bars. Check them out give them some love and...

Not sure how I feel about this place... The croissant itself was good but the filling was very mediocre. I got a Spicy Ham and Cheese Croissant. They used regular sliced American processed cheese. I would not have mind but, it didn't melt after being heated. :( The coffee was bland and came in a small styrofoam cup when I bought the croissant and coffee combo for $3.00. I could not put a lid on it so I ended up spilling some as I got into the car. -_- I ended up just throwing the coffee away. Not sure if I will be back... there are many donut shops around and this one doesn't...
