First experience at any jersey mikes. When I looked at the menu and saw the prices my immediate thoughts were "They must be giving me a day-wrecking size sandwich," because I had heard about the satisfying volume of food they were. So in spite of being appalled by the price I went ahead and ordered a "giant sized" big kahuna sandwich to the tune of $15.50 plus tax and extra because I put chipotle mayo on it.
You've probably already noticed the 2 star review. Why did I give it two stars? Because the food was edible, and the staff was polite. That's about all I can say. There was nothing outstanding about my food. In terms of portion, it was more generous than a subway sandwich (Which by my estimation is the most disappointing meal between bread you can waste your money on) so that is no compliment. Presentation wise, its a cheese steak so its not usually winning any beauty pageants. But seriously, it cost me just short of a $20 bill. Didn't even get a drink. Think of what you can get for 20 dollars! Like a large specialty pizza from a place less than 100 yds away.
In conclusion, I did not hate my sandwich. However for what it cost I'm literally ashamed of myself for paying that much money for that little of not extraordinary food. Would not recommend. Will not go there again. Extremely unimpressive. It wrecked my day and not in the good way. People here leaving high reviews are clearly being coerced with benefits. Talking about "how crisp the veggies are". This is a minimum requirement. If you want a good sub, go to your local pizza joint. There is no comparison.
Nothing against this location specifically, but as far as I can see it's just an even more expensive version of its competitors with even more fluffy bread not containing enough ingredients. To each their...
Read moreThe food is great, but placing a mobile order is pointless and outright frustrating. The last two times we have ordered ahead we ended up waiting almost 20 minutes for food. The first time we ordered over an hour ahead of pick up giving plenty of time, and the second time we just placed a regular order where we were given a 15 minute pick up time. I’ll note that it doesn’t seem to be a staffing issue as there were no less than 4 associates working but only two actively making orders. Also, the team working there has been extremely friendly and apologetic so I’m not intending for this to be a knock on them. That said, when people just walk in off the street to order and walk out with food before the order that was placed 20 minutes ago I have to think there is a break down somewhere in the process. We have ordered from other locations and not experienced these issues, so that leads to believe it’s a local process gap. Hopefully the owner/management team at this location provides the associates the tools and resources needed to be successful...
Read moreThese people must not read the orders all the way through and do what they want. This is the 2nd time I have ordered from them, and the 2nd time they have messed up my order. I always give a 2nd chance because things happen, but come on now. Big chicken Kahuna on wheat bread. White bread was given, but my husband said oh well, he would just eat it.. We also ordered 2 # 9's. One with extra meat and under special directions, extra juice was requested. The other #9 was no mayo. One sandwich given was dry, no juice, no mayo. The other had mayo and the juice. Neither had extra meat. Is it really that hard to pay attention? I know it's a small detail, but they charge a lot of money, and you have to pay extra for extra meat. So I would really love for my sandwich to...
