I've know this to be one of the last in a time I grew up with the competition being Brigham's and Friendly, and it is a tough establishment to run but if your owner and management are well oiled the the machine will not die. I think the only reason this has held is because of that old school fashion these amazing establishments have stood against as the clock ticks on. This is tough because I do not like bad review on places I grew up but here we are: we walked in and the host looked as if he were at the Frontline of war (he is young but management is not pressing the soldiers) he did not say hello or even make a square attempt for eye contact- let alone a smile. Our waitress was great- I felt bad for her because in a different environment she would be able to use her skills as a service person to prosper daily...... The bathroom- I will judge a restaurant by it's bathroom, I'm not coming back till your management changes hands- if your service people are using the same bathrooms as the customers, I give you less than a year, you will be shut down. The sink was days filthy and that means --OUR-- hands were not clean coming in or going out. I work in the service industry and this was uncomfortable, I pray you fix it because this is a last of its kind in this time and deserves a massive hand shake and proper motivation to keep going ... But you can be certain, survival In those conditions is futile, it was 7 pm but there is ABSoLuTly no excuse for the absence of need and security to be sure you are securing the loyal fan whom have choosen to walk in to this well known and prestigious staple. You have outlasted Brigham's and I worked for the better part of a decade for the last 3 surviving stores as a manager and he made sure we kept them clean and presentable, do not let this legend slip! Fix it now. You know the generations walking in are developing your futures customers...
Read moreIt has been 2 weeks since I ordered from them. I gave them that amount of time to actually reach out regarding my experience. I filled out the contact us form from their website. I filled out the "how did we do" survey sent to my email and I filled out their "tell us more" text survey and have yet to have anyone reach out. I ordered from this location for curbside pick up. The email said it would be ready at 432pm (on Friday 7/28). I went to pick it up with my daughter. We got there at exactly 432 and backed in right in front of the doors. I hit the "I'm here" button in the email and got a notification that someone would be out shortly. There were maybe 10 cars in the parking lot. I assumed it wouldn't be ready at the exact time in the email so I had no problem waiting a bit. I waited 10 minutes with no one coming out. Hit the I'm here button again. Waited another 10 minutes. Still no one came. I carried my child in as I didn't put shoes on her since it was a curbside pick up. I was told to wait. I waited another 5 minutes. They asked for my name. I received the order immediately, implying it was ready to go yet no one brought it out. I live 7 minutes away. We got home. Icecream was fine but everything else was cold. The fries were getting hard. The Mac and cheese my daughter got was sticking together from sitting. I requested a refund for the meals (not the icecreams as nothing was wrong with them) No reply. No acknowledgement that they fell short. Literally no one reached out to offer an apology. Had they even called that day to say they couldn't do the curbside for whatever reason and requested I come in when I alerted I was there, I would have done it with no problem. But I waited to give them the benefit of a doubt just to have all my food be cold. Definitely not worth the $60 I spent. Still want someone to actually answer me. That...
Read moreFor the value, it's a good family hit. However the service can be very hit an miss. The quality and care of preparing the food is never ever consistent. I always swap out my fries for a side salad, and lately.every time I have had wilted brown edged lettuce leaves. The last visit, they forgot to grill the hamburger buns which is the standard way they do burgers since I can remember my whole life, it did not even feel like the burger was cooked proper, no char. it was limp and lifeless. Also got an order of buffalo fingers, which I remember correctly because it was always my favorite app came with 8 decent sized chix fingers. For almost $9.00, we got 5 fairly small Buffalo fingers literally drowning in the sauce and NO celery as advertised. We were seated next to the kitchen pathway, and it was obvious the cooks were too busy laughing too get the orders Cooked right. Meanwhile the waitresses we're gossiping back there and smelled like cigarettes as. If the smoke breaks were more important than the Customers needs. Had you been walking around the restaurant, I would have been able to catch you attention for a my kids drink refill! I never felt the need to go off on this location before, lol. However since it's a place I actually want to come back to with my kids, I hope some corporate manager see this, and gets this location back up to speed because it's...
