Golden Creme Donuts — Restaurant in Novato

Finally came by when it was open! Business hours aren't posted, but what was good to know is that the shop closes early on weekends (which is why I never saw them open) and occasionally they'll close early on weekdays. Grew up coming to this donut shop before or after school, back when they used to have ice cream too. I loved getting a scoop of mint chip from Andrew (the owner). I live in town still but opposite ends. There are at least 2 or 3 donut shops closer to me but I'll drive across town to come get the best ones Novato has! Golden crème donuts AKA “Andrew’s” is an Ignacio staple. My family has been going to this mom and pop shop for over 30 years. Donuts and breakfast food are great and at a good price. Don’t let any of the bad reviews fool you, you get a better breakfast sandwich or donut at a better price point than any chain coffee or donut shop.
