Dairy Queen West (Treat and Cakes) — Restaurant in Novi

The service here is outstanding. Hanna and Todd showed friendly and professional service. Before I ordered, i told them about my fruit allergies to anything in the orange family. They understood and showed me that they could still make incredible treats. Other fruits I'm good with except oranges. Time after time they delivered.

A couple of weeks ago, though, I noticed these cakes they have in the freezer. I told them I'll be ordering in the future for my mom birthday may 29. After a couple of weeks my sis told me she'll buy the cake from somewhere else. I said ok cool. But when my mombirthday came up she forgot to buy the cake. So I was furious and called an audible and drove 40 min Detroit to Novi. Thankfully, the same woman was there, Hanna. That took care of me before. I told her about my situation and she took action. She quickly put some writing on the cake for me. I paid for the cake and wow, it looked great. Now, from one of the photos, a couple of pieces were slightly removed, that's only because I was carrying the cake in the house. But we tore it up. . SMALLEST & most OVERPRICED sundae ever for $2.99 plus the extra charge for pecans (which were stale & chewy). Ice cream didn’t even rise above the container edge. I even said something to the blond young Gal who made it, but she said & did nothing in response!! Very disappointing. McDonalds sundaes are a much better deal & every bit as good (for 1/2 or less the price). The chocolate malt the young man made was very good, otherwise would have given this Dairy Queen a “1” out of 5 rating! Not sure if I’ll return to this Dairy Queen again as I may go to the Dairy Queen in South Lyon which is 1/2 mile closer to my home. Visited on 9/6/2018...

Hi, I just went into Dairy Queen again and noticed a new face. His name was Ryan. He was the friendliest face I’ve seen in a store. He immediately greeted me and my granddaughter and made meaningful conversation with us. He has much charisma. I’ll be coming back very often. $20 tip for a million dollar service.
