Leo's Coney Island — Restaurant in Novi

We knew the service is always bad, the food subpar. But our son asked for pancakes while at Costco and we thought we woukd give them another shot. My husband ordered a 3 egg breakfast. The server brought him 2 eggs n toast then ghosted. Would not make eye contact on purpose, though with all her customers. My husband finally gets her to come over and address that first he was brought 2 eggs, not 3, but then also that it should have hash browns n all the meats. She said she would fix it but we all finished our food amd sat and sat. An hour in at a coney n my hubby no longer wanted it. She never cane back, never checked on us, never filled our drinks, never brought syrup though asked. We decided okay ready for our bill n even as standing at the register with her with arms reach she woukd not look at me or acknowledge me to get us our bill. My husband ended up walking right up to her being done n handing her his card. We won't go back. There is always an issue. Never good service. The food is never the quality of other Leo's. Just run terribly n never clean. Not somewhere...

I'd like to apologize for ordering take out tonight. After ordering through phone, it took me 10 min to get to the restaurant and another 20 min for the food to complete.

As I was waiting, I witnessed the staff packaging the fried chicken dinner with the styrofoam container fully melted through. I addressed to the staff and she responded, "It's fine. It's fine. It's because it's hot. Any containers would melt because it's hot. What do you want me to do? It's fine!"

Maybe it's not a good idea to suggest putting another piece of foil on top of the food in the future. However, I apologize for ordering fried chicken dinner. Maybe I didn't tip enough as I should for a take out. I sincerely apologize for ordering from this restaurant. Sorry for causing the trouble. It won't...

I overall like Leo's Coney Island but this location isn't really the best. Things are inconsistent when it comes to ordering from here. Example: when I've ordered the veggie omelet from any other coney, it's always just had cheese but apparently it's something you have to request? But that also isn't always the case since I've received one with cheese without me requesting it before. So the one day I was really craving my omelet, it was kind of lacking because it didn't come with what I had always assumed it came with. As well as I wasn't even sure I was getting toast since the waitress just kind of rushed off. Since things are very hit or miss with this location, I'll probably just have to make a drive out to any...
