This use to be a nicer McDonald's than it is now, to say the least! I don't know what is going on there or what went wrong, but just over the last few weeks there were 2 different incidences that make us feel like never going again! #1. My husband & I were waiting at drive thru order menu board speaker in the double drive thru, we were waiting quietly & patiently & then after about a minute, another car pulled up to the other lane's speakers and they were asked for their order immediately, so my husband was wondering if maybe ours was broken so he politely said "Hello?" to see if anyone was there and a lady (It sounded like it might be the same voice who was taking the other car who came after us,'s order) She said in VERY irritated snotty tone "CAN YOU WAIT A MINUTE?!!!!" My husband simply said "sure." and looked at me like "did you hear that? and WHY is she talking to us that way? " So we waited and when she finally asked for our order she kept the VERY SNOTTY, rude tone of voice as if we had done something very wrong to make her upset - she didn't even tell us how much money it would be. When we got to the window she told my husband still in snotty tone how much and he handed her cash and she got his change and THREW IT OUT THE WINDOW in a ball most of it got in his hand but a $5 bill blew across the parking lot and my husband couldn't get out of the car easily at all since we were pulled up to the window, so he had to pull car over to the right to get out and chase the money to catch it in the parking lot. #2. Even WORSE, the other day, our 26 yr old daughter who is always EXTRA polite and patient with anyone in customer service because SHE is in customer service and knows how badly some customers treat employees for no reason, ordered thru the drive thru an iced tea with light ice. The young man gave her an ice tea with ice packed from top to bottom. She sweetly said "I'm sorry, can you please make this so it's just light ice. I'd really appreciate it. " She said he acted VERY annoyed & left & came back & had dumped out 1/2 the drink so now she had a cup of half ice and half the iced tea left." She still stayed calm but was shocked and she said "Seriously? I asked very nicely, can't you just please give me a cup of iced tea with light ice as opposed to dumping half of my drink out?" He left again and she could see him the wrong part of the restaurant not even by the drinks, she couldn't see what he was doing but he was gone way too long so she felt really uncomfortable and knew she could not take whatever he gave her now. The manager ANTHONY came over and started SCREAMING at her "What is your problem?! You are being too picky!" She politely explained what happened and he SCREAMED at her that she was going to take that drink and leave OR ELSE SHE WAS ABOUT TO HAVE A REALLY BAD DAY! She was shocked and felt shaken up and said "What?! Are you threatening me?! He screamed "Are YOU threatening ME?!" She said "WHAT? That doesn't even make any sense, all I asked for is a simple iced tea with light ice and YOU said If I don't take my drink wrong that I was about to have a bad day." She said "I can't believe you are a manager! What is your name?!" He said "What is YOUR name?!" She said "I am not giving you my name, it has no bearing on anything and you threatened me!" She saw someone who worked there and had heard him screaming at her and she asked his name and she said it was Anthony. She had to call Corporate who apologized and said they would look into it and & later on she went inside the restaurant to talk to one of the other managers to tell them what happened and to finally get her drink she had paid for and they they apologized too. Someone needs to do something about ANYONE who works there from beyond rude employees who talk snotty to polite customers and throw money at them and to "managers" who literally SCREAM at and threaten...
Read moreWorst branch ever. McDonalds night manager (Anthony) is a racist. He is rude and offensive. Today I placed order by Phone and while mcDonalds driving through says no need to wait, you can skip the line. I don't skip it. Today, I placed my order, stopped by the machine and told them I ordered online. Then I stopped by the window where the lady told me I don't need to stop. Finally I arrived to the pick up window where the manager who is African American was standing there and tried to give me next car order. I told him I order over the phone, he found himself confuse because after waiting for 15 minuets in the line, I didn't get my order. He told me you should stopped in the first window. I told him I did, he told me no you didn't and implied I am a lair, when i asked him to call the lady on the first window he used his hand to sush me and tell me to stop talking. Unbelievable behavior. This is not the first time he acted rude against me. I noticed he doesn't treat White or African American the same way I am being treated. Just because of my skin colors, doesn't mean you have the right to offend me. This is the second incident where he is rude to me. I reported him to mcDonalds after first incident and asked them to contact me but haven't heard from the owner. Which is why I am posting here for the world to know the type of treatment that you can get.
I demand this manager to be investigated and fired. I am sure whatever B.S. he is doing is caught on surveillance camera. The fact the mcDonald's doesn't act on the behavior of their employees make them as terrible as those who offend customers.
I can't believe until now how someone dare to sush a customer and imply he is a liar. He refused to call the person who taking order and he was too rude to me to leave.
Update 11/5/2018: After someone from this branch contacted me and claim to investigate him. I came back for a coffee, he picked on me in the store even though I ordered online claiming that I am video taping him.
I got upset by him being rude and loud his voice. I turned on the cam and asked one of the employee to talk to the owner. She made fun of me turning on the cam and asked the same manager (Anthony) to come. I asked to talk the owner, he tried to turn it on me. He was rude and threaten me to call the police. I attached the video to this review. Check out what they did to...
