Like the first few reviews I read , I experienced the same thing...I went in to see about upgrading my phone . The salesman was not honest and transparent about the total bill I would be paying . I even flat out questioned the amount he was showing me and it did not seem correct. I said it should only be $10 more a month for the phone . He came back saying that was correct it's only $10 more and my auto pay discount isn't seen so don't worry. Actually I am paying $20 more because they upgraded my service even when I said I did not want to upgrade my service. If he would have explained everything correctly especially when I asked to clarify what I was seeing , he should have said you're paying $10 for the phone and you will have to upgrade your service which is another $10. In that case I would have never upgraded the phone and waited for better deals ...I went back to the store to clarify again and share my dissapointment , the manager response was basiclly to bad so sad you signed the paper .She says I can return the phone but will be charged a $50 service fee. I work with the public as well and we would never treat or accept a customer being upset , especially if it was our own error in explanation . This review will not create change because I am reading the same issues with others, and obviously they are not concerned or it wouldn't be repeated. A long time happy Verizon customer is now disappointed ... but what do they care , it's all about making their commission . Be careful if you go to this store ...make sure everything is written out and explained a couple times before you sign and I would even tape the conversation if you have the opportunity. I am sure I will get a generic response like all the others .." so sorry your experience wasnt a good one ...blah blah blah ...we strive to create a happy experience yada yada ..I generally write great reviews for companies ...obviously not with this store . I will definitely read reviews in the future first ...I did not think I would have to with Verizon...I am hoping Corporate sees who is representing...
Read moreI want everyone to know that I have NEVER written a Google Review (good or bad) in my life. This is something that I feel needs to happen due to the fraudulent treatment I received at this store. I went in to remove my Mother's phone from my account, because she had recently passed. At that time, my 13 year old daughter was to get a gift of a new phone and unlimited data. I was told that the small amount due on my Mom's phone would be waived, and removed from the account. The store would then send in the iPhone to Verizon for trade in. Great. I upgraded my phone and my daughters phone to the iPhone X with unlimited data. A very large purchase in my eyes. I would send in our two existing iPhone's that were paid off in for credit. I was also told (and have in a written note), that my new bill would be $130. Wow. Great. I wanted to also disconnect our iPad plan due to infrequent use. I was told I would have to call and do this myself...ok. Well come to find out. My Mom's iPhone was not removed from my account, and is still being charged. It does appear it was returned. Not only that, but my bill almost doubled. The specialist even went as far as to say that he would try to get the unlimited started right away instead of waiting until the next billing cycle. Didn't happen! The quote I received was not even close. I contacted Verizon directly, and as expected, they could only help a bit. They could not help with the gross misquote I received (written down on paper and presented as what my new bill would be). They did finally shut off my Mom's iPhone and waive the fee, but could do nothing about the fraudulent quote I received. I spent over $300 that day (not even sure now what I got for this money), and feel violated. They turned the sad note of my Mom's passing and the fun of my daughter getting a new phone into a nightmare. Do not shop at this location. And they may be responsible for Verizon losing a customer. A good and long standing...
Read moreThis store has really gone down hill of late. Last two visits were it for me. First trip I went in to buy a glass screen protector, employee installed it in the back of the store (out of sight). Can back with so many bubbles under the screen, you'd think a 5 year old installed it. When I told him I wouldn't accept it, he looked agitated and went off to get some help. Thankfully a more experienced person came to my rescue. The end can last weekend when I went in to transfer an upgrade to a different line and move that new phone to the Edge program and investigate moving all of my phones to the Edge program using the early edge upgrade. After a 45 minute wait, over comes a rep that I could tell was in over his head. He started my transaction without issue, but when we were about to finalize everything he stopped and said that we weren't eligible to jump to the early edge program. He couldn't explain why. So I asked him to simply transfer the standard upgrade to the line I wanted and move that phone to the edge program. I was immediately told that was forbidden. Only the line with the open upgrade could move to the edge program. So out the door I went with nothing to show for the 90 minutes I spent in the store. 24 hours later, after a pleasant call with a Verizon Rep at HQ, my new iPhone 6 on the line of my choice was on it's way. I also got a lucid and clear understanding of what the early edge program was all about. Needless to say that is the last time I will walk through the doors of that...
