First time here since it is a 20-minute drive The service was great .our Waitess was awesome tentative The atmosphere looks good like the decor Got the fresh roll, fried springs roll Everything tastes good for our appetizers We order 2 regular pho bowls and 1 stone pho Now stone pho is really good. 23 buck a little pricey, but it is worth it. But the 2 regular pho it not worth the price Portion is too small ..it more like a ramen bowl. It's too pricey for a small bowl. If you want to try the real pho .try Goin to the Madison Heights area. Big bowl for 13 dollars 1 pound noodles 1 pounds meat. Not here .broth tastes good, but lacking in noodles meant condiments. Not with the price. I was hoping this would be my go-to place since it was only a 15 - to 20-minute drive . Now I'm gonna have to drive to the Madison Heights area where all the vietnamese restaurants are at You want big Portion decent price go to the Madison heights area you won't be disappointed. This place is not bad, but the price to the portion size is not good Sure, I can always get extra meat noodles, but it gonna be like 25 dollars Other vietnamese restaurants are like 15 dollars, and you get big Portion This place is good for beginners who think this is how vietnamese pho bowl noodles are Small portion size lacking in noodles meat It should be a 7 dollars bowl for this portion People who think this pho bowl is good don't know the real pho bowl noodles yet. More kids bowl here.. This place is for small eater and newbie to vietnamese food If you're a big eater Or you're hungry, try paying more money for meat and noodles, or try...
Read moreThis evening, I had the opportunity to dine at "Sai Gon Pho" located in the bustling 12 Oak Mall in Novi. The restaurant is a delightful find for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine, especially their signature dish, Pho.
Upon entering, I was greeted by the vibrant yet soothing ambiance that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Saigon. The decor is tastefully done, with subtle nods to Vietnamese culture that add to the dining experience. The staff at "Sai Gon Pho" were exceptionally welcoming and competent, ensuring that every guest felt attended to.
The Pho was the star of the meal, boasting a rich and aromatic broth that was both comforting and invigorating. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the selection of meats added a hearty touch to the dish. The menu offered a great variety, catering to different preferences with an authentic taste that transported me straight to the streets of Vietnam.
In terms of value, the price-performance ratio was outstanding. It's a place where the quality of food and the dining experience far exceed the expectations set by the menu prices.
However, there was a slight hiccup with the wait time. Despite the restaurant not being overly crowded, we experienced a longer wait than anticipated. But this minor inconvenience did not detract from the overall positive experience.
Overall, "Sai Gon Pho" is a gem within Novi's dining scene. With its superb Pho, excellent selection, and wonderful atmosphere, it's a restaurant that I would recommend to anyone and certainly visit again. The minor wait issue aside, everything else about the restaurant...

I believe we were greeted by the owner who was extremely kind and polite. Heads up this is a family business as their young children were there, however, they were really well behaved. The mango smoothies were beyond amazing and I would recommend everyone try one of the smoothies with their meals. The Pho I believe was pretty good, in terms of the amount of toppings for the price, it could use a little more balancing. However, the broth was divine and soul warming. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was one of the best sauces I have had in awhile. As the restaurant started to get busier more staff did show up (two males, one of which had sagging black jeans and constantly had to pull his pants up even though he was wearing a belt.). The reason I lowered the score was because there is always one bad apple in the batch. This one male server in particular I noticed didn’t really appear as if he wanted to be there nor did he seem friendly with the other guests. He even sat at an empty table and played on his phone even though more and more people were entering. He didn’t bother to get up to greet them until another person called out to him to do so. He then proceeded to toss their menus on to the table in the most laziest way possible. At this point we had finished our meals and left the restaurant after paying for our meal. I would definitely go again in the future. Just remember they are a bit on the more...
