Pay attention to the real reviews regarding customer service and in particular when customers have an issue with their drink.
To err is human and understandable but it’s how you treat your customers after they spend almost $8 on a drink that isn’t satisfactory. I know this will not make a difference to them but I will NEVER spend another cent on this franchise location because of the non existent customer service from poor management that was on the phone communicating to the pugnacious contentious female employee behind the counter.
No need to go into lengthy details other than an $8 drink for a customer that has an average food cost of 65c for the restaurant with high profit margins means that you should make an effort to take care of your customer! Yes, I’m an owner in the food service industry with multiple locations and over 300 employees. Shocking that management’s policy is not to immediately offer to replace a drink with a food cost of only 65c to them, to please and retain their customer loyalty especially when said drink has a weird chemical taste. When you knowingly pay almost $8 for a product that costs 65c (not including labor etc) you have to leave feeling gratified by both the product purchased and service experience.
Lots of other great boba tea places to support and great reminder on how not to run a business!
Updated response to this business reply and inaccurate account:
I am not surprised by this absolutely shameful inaccurate account of events and welcome your camera footage illustrating “the ruckus” I caused. At no time during my encounter with your employees was there any yelling, altercation or aggressive behavior from myself or the young child accompanying me, who isn’t my daughter or my older teenage son, who was quietly sitting at a table and waiting patiently for his drink to be fixed!! Seems like you have an inaccurate version of events from your female employee, with the belligerent attitude!! Go look at your camera footage and train your staff accordingly!
The drink had a chemical taste, which my older teenage son and I came back and asked politely to be remade. Of course he did not like the taste of it! I brought a young girl with me and made a second drink purchase for her, despite being told by your female employee with the poor disposition, that she wasn’t going to remake my sons chemical tasting drink, until I insisted she consulted a manager. After she discussed the issue with her manager on the phone, I was told the drink will be remade as an exception which I found totally acceptable only to be told a few minutes later by your employee, that the manager said, “never mind!!” Nevertheless I still purchased that second drink and supported your business despite the unacceptable service based on our first drink purchase. I do not have expectations or need to go into restaurants and ask for free food for my non existent daughter…disappointingly here’s another missed opportunity for your business to correct a mismanaged encounter however your poor response fraught with inaccuracy and attacking insults is another lesson of what not to do in business! Btw when we have a customer who isn’t satisfied with their order, we will make every effort to correct our mishap, replace their order, sincerely apologize and make an effort to retain their loyalty! I believe most folks feel it is perfectly reasonable and acceptable for customers to feel entitled to the best product and service a business can provide them when they are choosing where to spend their hard earned money. Too bad your response indicates otherwise.
Please focus on the issue at hand: there are other customers who have similar complaints with this franchise in particular with the unsatisfactory service if there is an issue with their drink. Seems like pure greed if your high profit margin product comes with such poor after sales service to...
Read moreThis was my first time coming here and I was only here for the new pikmin drink that came with the straw cover that I really wanted. When I went in the place it looks nice and they had pokemon here so that's cool I guess, but it took a while to take my order and when they were finally were ready to take my order, the person who took my order was nice but it was loud in the restaurant and the person was a soft speaker and I ask what was in the pikmin slush and I didn't hear a single word they said but I didn't want to be rude so I just was like alright then I mention the pikmin straw covers and they hit me up with "they were only for the first 100 people who ordered it get the straw covers" and I am sorry but the official social media accounts were still promoting the drinks along side with the straw cover and these came out on August 1 and it's August 9 as I am writing this and people are still getting the drink and the straw covers and they never mention about it's only for the first 100 people. That makes me so mad, so if any pikmin fans come here for both the drinks and the straw toppers this is...
Read moreKung Fu Tea is hands-down one of the best bubble tea spots out there. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a menu full of customizable options that cater to every taste—whether you’re into classic milk teas, fruity refreshers, or creative seasonal drinks.
The quality is consistently excellent. Their tapioca pearls are always perfectly chewy, never soggy, and the tea is brewed fresh, giving each drink a bold, authentic flavor. Personal favorites like the Kung Fu Milk Tea, Taro Slush, and Wintermelon Green Tea are incredibly satisfying, but it’s hard to go wrong with anything on the menu.
What really sets Kung Fu Tea apart is the balance: not too sweet, not too bitter, and with the ability to adjust sugar and ice levels to your liking. Plus, service is quick and efficient—even during busy hours.
