Texas Roadhouse — Restaurant in Novi

PSA I have had the worst experience ever at this texas road house and me and my family have been coming to this location since the store has opened for business in 2020 and me and my family live five minutes from this business and never had a issue with staff,managers, food or drinks however today August 23, 2023 around 6pm KIM LAFFERTY who is the store manager who says she is now the owner of this store was beyond rude, disrespectful, showed she could care less about the issue I had that my food was cold that was brought out to me and my family KIM LAFFERTY is a BIG TIME RACIST MANAGER AND DISPLAYED BIG TIME RACISM in front of me, my children, other customers, and staff her actions, words, body language, said it all this is a formal compliant whomever is over KIM LAFFERTY needs to know how this manager is I want all my people African Americans (black people) to see this review that they may try to take down stop spending our money in these establishments when the customer service is horrible and managers like KIM LAFFERTY who is displaying racism big time who would probably get away with this behavior and been getting away with this behavior since she has been a manager at this location or any other business what I experience at texas road house today was horrible and unbelievable and I left hungry and still not accommodate for anything our food was cold and instead of KIM LAFFERTY remaking the food fresh because she was in the kitchen with the food all KIM LAFFERTY did was reheated our food instead of making it fresh Like seriously people can get food poison and very sick like this KIM stated that their policy (Texas road house) is to reheat food if a customer say their food is cold never ever heard of that kim also was trying make me and my family pay for the bill in full and not willing to take anything off our bill and going back and fourth with us like seriously our food was cold and then you reheated our food and was not willing to accommodate me or my family at all are you serious KIM LAFFERTY was wrong on so many levels and she know she was wrong even the service manager CATE knew this was wrong but she really couldn't say or do anything because KIM LAFFERTY is her boss this is why businesses go out of business overtime because Managers like KIM LAFFERTY care more probably about her pay check and not her customers or the business itself this behavior will not go unnoticed if it's not for the customers these establishments will not be in business it's not what you say but it's how you say it no matter what your background is treat people with respect and dignity FYI this is not the end of this I will go to the top of the chain of commands professional about Kimberly LAFFERTY and the poor service I received and trust me this is bigger than just my food being cold but displaying racism and showing that you are a racist manager in front of my children is wrong on so many levels and I'm customer spending money which keeps money in your pocket KIM LAFFERTY and your business but not anymore managers or business owners need to be stop and reported to the news, community, social media, health department, state of Michigan, and anyone associated with this...

Came to this location yesterday, 07/23/24, my cousin and I decided to meet for dinner after not seeing each other for a couple years. She arrived before me and requested a table, I arrived a few moments later. We were out front chatting and they took her phone number down for the reservation and said she would be notified when table was ready. Me and my cousin were talking for about 30 minutes, she kept checking her phone but no notification. She ended up going in to see how much longer the wait would be and found out that they wrote down the wrong phone number. She waved to me to come on that the table was ready. It wasn't a huge deal for us as again we were sitting out front talking for a while. We then were sat with beautiful rolls and butter, and our server came very quickly. So handsome I must say, Dean greeted us and was so patient and kind with us we were deciding on what to get and got distracted talking again so he came a few times before we gave him our order. Finally, we ordered- I got a 14oz ribeye with a sweet potato (with added caramel and marshmellow....phenomenal!) And a side salad And she got a filet with 2 side salads. My steak was cooked beautifully with onions on top, she said her steak was great, personally I don't like eggs and didn't notice eggs were on the side salad or I would have requested for them to be removed, ranch dressing was so good! The resturant was packed, they had fresh steaks on display when you walk in, great service from our handsome waiter and we were there about 2.5 hrs. My cousin spent 35$ including tip, I spent $45 including tip. Resturant was very clean. I didn't take pictures at the resturant but took some of my carry out....

My food was phenomenal it was nice and hot well seasoned to my likings good environment my kids really had a blast eating their as well good food good vibes good energy good customer service skills. I really love they home-made rolls with that cinnamon butter oouuuuh wheeeeeeeee them rolls was hot fresh doughy kinda soft I love how you can already taste the butter they drizzle or brush on top of them rolls they were flavorful you can taste the sweetness in them too. the homemade cinnamon butter is good too. I ate so much bread that I had to get a carry out with my actual food lol because I was so full off the bread😂😂😂😂it gets me everytime that I visit Texas Roadhouse which is fine at least I'll have me some dinner for later or for my lunch for work the next day and the food taste better the next day anyways because you can really enjoy and indulged in it's seasonings and flavorings and they garlic butter is so good too especially on the steaks and you ask for more and you drizzled it on they seasoned rice ouhhhh wheeeeeeeee baby it's good and them green beans you don't even have to add no salt to them because they come already seasoned to the hilt with them beacon bits on top 😋will be coming back soon. And I love how even though it's a wait to get in they get you in in a timely manner and it goes by so quick. My only con is they need to clean they bathrooms out and put more toilet tissue in each stall I understand it's Roadhouse style and I get how you wanted your bathrooms to be but you guys gotta start...
