This may be the biggest disgrace to "Qdoba" that anyone will ever encounter. To start off, as soon as we walked through the door, we were not greeted. Instead, we were screamed at by an employee that "we're out of everything". Ignoring the rude gesture, we approached the employee, and she seemed extremely disgruntled. Regretfully, we decided to order anyways. After paying for our meals and turning around to find a table, we found that every single table was dirty. We kindly asked another employee to wipe down a table for us, and she stated, "There are a lot of other tables that are clean"...Needless to say there were none. We decided to just take our napkins and wipe one down ourselves. While taking our food to the table, we went to grab a bottle of hot sauce, only to find the top had not been screwed on properly. This resulted in the bottle dropping to the ground and the glass smashing into pieces. Right away, the employee yelled "What happened?" We told her the situation and she commented "Yeah, no one ever closes those bottles." Neither employee came to clean up the glass or hot sauce. Twenty minutes passed and the hot sauce and glass remained laying shattered all over the floor, while customers came and left. It's simply inappropriate and disappointing to know that two employees were feeding off each other's misery to create a toxic and dangerous environment for their customers to never want to...
Read moreWe just left this Qdoba location and decided to write a review to give some feedback to this establishment. The food was tasty and we had a great experience with most of the staff (everyone who looked under 30). Shoutout to the folks on the makeline and at the register who made recommendations and were friendly even though it seemed like they had been having a long (rough?) shift. It was very obvious that the oldest-appearing person on shift (with lighter hair) on makeline had a negative attitude that permeated everybody else’s attitudes and caused the guest experience to become uncomfortable. He might have been having a tough day himself, but it felt like he brought the team energy down and we would recommend a bit of coaching for him to improve the experience for staff and guests. We forgot to get drinks and wanted to go back inside (we ate outside on the nice patio) but we could see through the window that the older gentleman was scolding another young man on the makeline who assisted us—probably for forgetting to mention that the Mexican corn would be extra, though we would have been happy to pay for it. PS the Cholula sweet and spicy...
Read morePlaced a catering order a few days in advance. The pickup date and time was a Sunday. An hour before my event I went to pick up food and learned that Qdoba Novi is closed on Sundays. No one contacted me after placing the order to let me know that Sunday pickup is not an option. Shame on the system that let me place and order and charged me for food. Even corporate says that I should have been called when I placed the order. Imagine having a gathering and no food an hour beforehand. I am so upset with Qdoba Novi.
4/28/21 UPDATE: Although there is a response from the owner on my review there has been no actual follow up. I spoke to the manager twice who promised that I would be sent a 50% coupon for my next catering order. Never received. I submitted an online complaint. No response. I emailed Qdoba and referenced the Google case number as requested. I received a response 21 days ago that my issue was being forwarded to the team that could help. No response. I was sent a survey to ask about how my issue was handled. I responded that it has not been handled. No...
