Glaze Donuts - Nutley — Restaurant in Nutley

As someone who has been going to glazed since the one open in new milford i am very very very dispointed with this location. The staff is not trained well at all. They were actually clueless. They didn't know what donuts were what and the lables didnt match what the donuts were. This caused a huge backup in the way to small space. Mind you there were 4 people behind the counter helping one person at a time. They didn't know the difference when it came to different types of coffee either i.e. latte vs brewed coffee. Also parking is terrible. Plan to park illegally if you go here and throw on your harzards. It is obvious this place wasn't planned out well. I did go in early afternoon but the choices were very slim pickings. It was too the point why were you even open stil. I would say don't bother going after 10 or 11 am. Even the donuts were not the same great quality i've come to love from Glazed. They were kinda stale and dry. I brought them to a family party and concidering the $30 i spent on these i would have expected better. The jelly which i have had many times tasted like cough syrup and the boston cream had little to no flavor at all. I don't know what has happened to Glazed since they shifted their business model. But if you want to try Glazed at their best just go to their original location don't bother...

I am always in search of delicious donuts. I particularly look for donuts that taste better than the average fair like Dunkin or store bought. These were definitely not what I was looking for. It was my first time in store and the store is cute. The area is nice. The young lady at the counter took quite a while to greet me even though no one else was there. I asked how much the donuts were as there were no visible prices and she said it depends on the donut. No further clarification, just, it depends. The donuts looked good so I let that slide as well and began to order way too many donuts. I spent a ridiculous sum of money on 15 donuts. The total was a little over $65. I paid it expecting these to be the best donuts of my life. They looked so beautiful, they had to be amazing right? Wrong. They were average. Painfully average. I actually preferred Dunkin's cake donuts over these. These were dense and salty. The cronuts were meh. The cannoli hardly tasted like cannoli cream. The maple bacon was so profoundly disappointing as I believe bacon makes everything better. It did not. They weren't the worst donuts I ever had. They just weren't good enough to make me want to go back. They certainly weren't...

Came here for the first time 05/27/2023 and wondering how the Glaze Donuts are out if this world as they have it advertised outside their board. They were ok. I had better donuts. Staff at the counter, no customer service at all. Asking us “How many your getting?” Like…we don’t know yet because it was our first time coming here. Trying to look what his name was but the receipt says Melissa R. So it was definitely not her. He didn’t give us a time to look and kind of rushing us. I have to ask for the receipt as well. Since he was saying nothing at all. 3 staff’s no greetings, no thank you’s at all. I was just disappointed and will never come back. Not welcoming and PLEASE treat your customers with RESPECT! Period. If you live nearby, it is better to order online ( so you can choose what kind of donut you like without the staff rushing you) and pick them up ( so you don’t have to interact with the unprofessional attitude ) or order from food delivery apps and better to tip the...
