In response to some recent reviews, I feel the need to support this amazing business. Approximately 5-6 individuals decided to write negative reviews concerning a puddle on the floor and slipping. These reviews are fictitiously exaggerated. I know this from the other customer accounts of the situation and my experience with them.
Note I am not an employee or business partner. I simply work with the owners and staff of this cafe on a professional business to business level. The owners and staff are meticulous, polite, and always professional. I have worked with them on many indoor and outdoor events. Their cafe and equipment is constantly being cleaned and sanitized. I have seen them lock up and scrub, wipe, and clean every surface, utensil, bottle, bag phone, tablet, you name it. I have even seen them clean the cleaning bottle. Lol
The folks at this cafe are there to work their butts off and provide great service. Every event that we have worked together or they have catered for me was a huge success. I would not keep requesting their food and services if I did not think they were the best in quality, cleanliness, service, and professionalism. In the event business a bad food/drink service can lose you customers, reputation, and money. Urban Leaf is doing things right.
I know staff would not have behaved the way they were reported to. this was probably around closing time. If there was a puddle I'm sure it was just from one of the last customers of the night on their way out. Considering it has been raining cats and dogs for 2 days straight you should know your shoes could be wet. I'm sure their security cameras caught what truly happened.
If this individual was truly hurt they should have brought their concerns to the attention of the staff who I am sure would have been helpful.
It is disgusting that these customers would plot to destroy a small businesses reputation as if they had anything better to do other than to write false and negative reviews. These persons reviews should be in violation of Google's...
Read moreI have to say, once Urban Leaf Cafe opened up, it has become a good go-to cafe for me, especially since it satisfies much of my Asian-style cafe cravings!
For their bubble tea, I have tried their Taro and Ube Oreo to my satisfaction. The boba itself had a good texture and was prepared well. They also have a nice selection of hot tea, which is good to get if you will be there for a little while to sip on while you are catching up on work or with friends.
I have also tried their food, the Spam Masubi and Spam Nori Bowl. The sauces they put on give everything a nice flavor and I feel both dishes are made well and good to have if you are hungry and do not mind eating some spam!
My favorite thing to get here and share with friends are their bubble waffles. They offer many different toppings on the bubble waffle and their style definitely rivals ones I have had in NYC (if not this one is better thus far) so it is great that this is so close to where I live. I have already brought other friends to this spot and they have been satisfied by the bubble waffle as well!
Overall, with good food, satisfying drinks, yummy desserts, and a simplistic and clean ambiance inside, come give this...
Read moreI am newly addicted to this place for a couple months now. My fav is the brown sugar milk tea. I think about getting one every day of the weekend. Staff is friendly and place is clean. I am always wanting to try different flavors, but I am always craving my goto bubble tea. I understand the whole tip thing with the credit cards because it not uncommon at all. The credit card machine/app asks the merchant for a tip, so of course the staff has to ask the question for the transaction to go through. It is not mandatory to give a tip, and no one in the staff makes you feel that way. Staff is very friendly. If you have a problem with them asking for a tip because the screen is asking, then you might as well avoid most places or pay cash because this is not an uncommon practice for businesses. I do not always give a tip, but whenever I can I enjoy supporting our local small businesses especially during these hard times. The only reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is because I feel there should be a rewards program in place. I would definitely visit more if I could look forward to a free drink after so...
