10 Empanadas — Restaurant in Oʻahu

An international treat. Hand made by an Argentinan home away from home, Martin, these empanadas are crispy, delicious and bursting with flavor. Martin is incredibly kind and his restaurant treats his guest with Argentinan hospitality. The beef empanada is a stand out and authentic. The spinach and cheese empanada had a cheese pull every bite. Then for a fun new flavor the Parmesan eggplant was so savory. The menu is vast with something for meat eaters and veggie eaters. With the most beautiful sugar crusted croissants and churros for dessert. The is one shop I’ll definitively be back to eat the menu. I already want more. Oh and the chimichurri sauce is fantastic. I’d eat it as soup.

My family and I just happened to pass by this place while driving around Kailua... and both my husband and I shouted out EMPANADAS?!? So there we were, trying to decide on which to get. Their different fillings were all very good. Yes, we bought 2 of EVERYTHING right down to the dessert ones. Which was our favorite? Still undecided but I wouldn't mind eating again the Mediterranean or the Fatai or the Osso Buco or the Caprese or the Spinich or the... see what i mean. All were served hot and so delicious. After all that savory, you definitely want to finish with something sweet. Definitely...

Inedible. This is not a matter of me not liking it. In the Mediterranean specifically, I tasted something not fit for human consumption. My guesses would be either some contaminant like a cleaner, or perhaps an infection due to poor refrigeration. I don’t know, and I did not want to find out in the hospital. They did not refund me, but rather offered to replace that type for free. I declined, having learned the lesson that ordering food is like gambling at this place. Needless to say, I won’t be back.
