Ordered delivery... And the experience was so-so this time around. They happened to be slammed tonight, and our order was an hour later than expected. The amount of food is great, ordered two combos, dungeness crab, and snow crab. It comes with a lot of those tiny clams, ONE mussel, two corn, three full red potatoes (decently sized) but not cut, shrimp without heads (shell on), a lot ton of crawfish, and thinly sliced sausage...it was a lot of food, which was awesome... The issue that I had was the flavor... It was seriously lacking in the nice full salty garlicky flavor that usually comes with eating this type of seafood... It was way too sweet, and one of the combos didn't have any cajun seasoning and it didn't have the spice that we requested. If you were to just go based on the quality and amount, it's great... I'm gonna chalk this order up to the fact that they were slammed, and the fact that it was delivery order... The restaurant did call and let us know they were really busy, so customer service was awesome. Overall, I'd probably not order from here for delivery, but I'd definitely try again in restaurant next time we try there... And cost was about the same as the other crab places, so nothing over the top or low. Oh on a side note they don't give rice on the side... So make your own!

We decided to try this place out since we'd see our friends always posting pictures of their dinner times here and to be honest, the sauce was good, but what fell a bit under were the Korean Chicken and Pupu steak plates we ordered. For the price, you'd think you'd get at least a side and a scoop of rice, because when you order a local plate lunch from any other place, that's what comes with your meal, but sadly enough you just get the meat entree minus the sides. Our table ordered (1) #3 combo and (4) #4 combos along with other menu items. Sadly enough, the disappointing meals were the Korean Chicken and Pupu steak plates. There was no flavor and the meats were dried. My Pupu steak plate came with a few pieces of cut up (dried?) steak, maybe half of a raw onion with Hawaiian Alaea salt sprinkled on top, a small serving of poi and a small serving of dipping sauce, which tasted like watered down shoyu with green onions. The Korean chicken plate was a generous portion... but there was nothing about it that tasted like Korean chicken and it was really dry. We'd probably give this place another try, but only because of the seafood combos.

We stopped by for lunch to have our first cajun experience on the island. No reservation needed since we came during the week and within the hour they opened so it wasn't busy. We ordered Combo #1 which included clams, shrimp, craw fish, and crab legs with cajun seasoning. It came with 2 pcs of potato, corn, and sausage. I was excited for the first bite only to be disappointed. It was bland. The clams didn't have any taste, just steamed, potato - same thing. You can finally taste a bit of cajun taste on the crab legs and shrimp but still bland. I ended up asking for seasonings on the side. Seasonings weren't well mixed and under seasoned. The server at least was friendly as someone from the Aloha state. She was very accommodating and checked on us several times how we were doing. I initially thought of bringing the whole family here, but after this experience, I would hold off on it.

I came here using Cajun King as the comparison.

We ordered the shrimp tempura and kalua pork quesadillas for appetizers. My husband and I shared a Combo #1 (the one with snow crab) with garlic butter sauce and we had the mini malasadas with ice cream for dessert.

We ordered our appetizers and food at the same time. The combo came out quick, about 10 mins after we ordered! Our appetizers didn’t come yet but we decided to dig in anyways. It was only after the fact that we were given bibs, but I didn’t care. I came for the crab and I was getting my crab! No time to stop to put a bib on! About 20 mins after getting our crab our quesadillas came out.

For our Yelp event, we had some entertainment while we ate. I started to wonder where my tempura was. About 45 mins after I ordered my appetizer, I saw another server giving a tempura to the table next to ours. They sent it back and said they didn’t order it. I stopped the guy and said we were still waiting for ours. He had to go check and finally brought it back to our table.

The quesadilla was pretty bomb. My little 2 year old loved it. The kalua pork had a lot of flavor and there was a good amount of cheese. My mouth is actually watering just writing this review. YUM! By the time the tempura came, we had already been well into the combo so we weren’t as hungry. But it was still good. I couldn’t really tell the taste of it in between all the other seafood I had just been eating but the coating was perfect. Light and crispy.

Now heres what you really want to know… the Combo. So side by side, I think I prefer Cajun King. It seemed like the sauce was like margarine with garlic salt. At the other place, I can eat the sauce with my rice and be in heaven. It also seemed like there was way more crawfish in there, which sucked for me since I don’t really care for it. I definitely was not blown away by the seafood there.

Later they brought by some ice cream which we started to dig into and then like 10 mins later brought some mini malasadas to the other side of the table. Ooops. Wish they had told us that they were 2 desserts so we could have waited to eat the ice cream. Lame.

Bottom line, I would not return here. I heard similar stories from others that occurred at different times. A close friend of mine told me that they served her gray raw shrimp. When she told them about it, they didn’t offer her more cooked shrimp, they just gave her 5% off her bill. 5%?!?! Lame dude. Compared to the other seafood places, I would not waste...

I'd like to start by saying that I do not write this with ill intentions towards the business, and hope that they will take this review as constructive criticism to improve the quality of their food. This past Friday evening, I placed a phone order for a 20-piece order of butter garlic shrimp, 2 HALF pieces of corn on the cob, and about 1lb of the butter garlic snow crab legs. Upon pickup, the staff was friendly, and they helped me as fast as possible, although it was pretty busy. When I took my order home and opened it, the butter garlic sauce was all over the bag - poorly packaged, and there were also no napkins included. As for the food, as soon as I started peeling the shrimp, I could feel with my hands how dry and overcooked it was. It tasted like previously frozen cooked shrimp, which was cooked again and then thrown into the bag with the sauce. The half pieces of corn on the cob tasted exactly like the ones you buy from the market in the frozen section, and you get SIX for the price that they're selling TWO for. Lastly, the crab legs weren't too bad, but I was just over it at that point. I rarely write reviews, but I am extremely disappointed, and I had way better expectations of this place - being that they specialize in seafood, they should definitely uphold higher standards as to what they are selling customers ESPECIALLY at the HIGH prices they charge! My order's total was $60, and I was in shock once I...

I was really looking forward to trying Da Crawfish and Crab Shack, but unfortunately, the food was a huge letdown. I would give them 0 stars if I could! I ordered snow crab clusters and shrimp in garlic butter (spicy). The spice level was good, but there was no real flavor—just heat. It desperately needed proper seasoning. I asked for Old Bay, and they brought me some sweet brown seasoning that was definitely not Old Bay. Turns out, they make their own seasoning, and honestly, it’s not good.

Then came the biggest disappointment: they don’t have real butter—only margarine. I asked for butter to dip my crab legs, and they brought a bowl of margarine… and charged me $4.50 for it. I also ordered lemon and got half a lemon for $1.50. The corn and potatoes were clearly just boiled in plain water and then splashed with raw garlic and margarine. Everything was bland and unappetizing.

On top of that, it was extremely hot inside—not a single window, door, AC, or fan to provide relief. It made the whole experience even worse.

The only positives were that the crab legs were cooked properly, the interior was nice, and the staff was friendly and quick. But good service doesn’t make up for bad food, bad seasoning, and an uncomfortable dining environment.

If they switched to real butter and actual crab seasoning, this place could be great. Until then, I wouldn’t come back. Not...
