Dipped By Dee — Restaurant in Oʻahu

I’ve been a loyal customer of Dipped by Dee for the past two months, always craving their drip cups. Their service has always been great, and the workers are friendly. However, my experience this afternoon was a complete letdown.

I placed an order for a Dubai drip cup, expecting it to be made on the side like usual. But instead, I received a cup of strawberries with cookie butter. I explained the issue to Chase Zyler, the cashier, but he insisted that I buy another drip cup because he had already made it.

I don’t understand why I should have to pay for his lack of attention to customer service. I paid for a Dubai drip cup, which includes extra ingredients, so I should be entitled to it. Been coming here since I found them almost two years ago. Customer service is a hit or miss, there are some who are at the register who are very friendly and knowledgeable about the different items and stock. Some who maybe had a bad day and tend to reflect it on the customer. Had a few times when my order was wrong and I accepted it because they told me it was similar. Recently had an incident that wouldn’t have happened if they had double checked the name, email and order number. Now we are SOL on our valentines gift, we thought we were set but now we are on the hunt for a different gift. Not sure if we’d go back...

This is a relatively new business, just opening up their own shop they have continued to shine with there delicious strawberries. The prices are reasonable for the quality that you’ll be receiving and if you still think that they are too high, they do trunk sales at different locations each month that can be found on their instagram. My favorite has to be the strawberry shortcake and fruity pebbles, but they a ton of other flavors that you won’t be disappointed with!
