If you’re at Pearlridge and craving something sweet, the Leonard’s Bakery Malasadas mobile truck is a must-visit. Bringing the iconic taste of Leonard’s right to the heart of the mall area, this mobile truck delivers the same amazing quality you’d expect from their main bakery.

The Malasadas: Just like at the main Leonard’s Bakery, the malasadas here are exceptional. They’re served piping hot, with a crisp exterior and a soft, airy inside that practically melts in your mouth. The mobile truck offers all the classic flavors:

• Plain (Sugar-Coated): A simple yet irresistible option, perfectly dusted with sugar. • Cinnamon-Coated: Adds a delightful spice that complements the sweetness of the dough. • Filled Malasadas: You can choose from favorites like custard, haupia (coconut), and dobash (chocolate). Each one is filled generously, making every bite rich and satisfying.

Convenience: The convenience of the mobile truck at Pearlridge cannot be overstated. Whether you’re shopping, passing by, or just in the area, it’s so easy to stop by and grab a few malasadas without having to make the trip to the main bakery. The truck is well-stocked, so you’re likely to find your favorite flavors whenever you visit.

Service: The service at the mobile truck is fast and friendly. Even with the occasional line, the staff keeps things moving smoothly, ensuring you get your malasadas fresh and hot. The crew was asleep when I arrived at 5pm. Kind of disappointed with the attitude.

Pricing: Despite being a mobile truck, the prices are just as reasonable as at the main bakery. You’re getting the same high quality at a convenient location without any markup, which is a big plus.

The Leonard’s Bakery Malasadas mobile truck at Pearlridge is a fantastic way to enjoy Hawaii’s favorite sweet treat without the need to travel far. The quality is consistent with what you’d expect from Leonard’s, and the convenience, friendly service, and reasonable pricing make it a must-stop if you’re...

We were hoping to make it to the bakery, but unfortunately, we didn't get to . So, we added the bakery back to our list for our next trip. But the truck is great !!!! We got all the options we could !!! Cinnamon, sugar , chocolate, etc. They were made fresh , and when they handed us that lovely pink box filled with amazing malasadas, it was piping hot( not burn your fingers hot , but fresh out the fryer hot) . We had all ordered separately, and we all got all the options. We were not disappointed. The kids couldn't even wait they kept trying to eat them the second we got them, but the steam rolling off made them wait a minute or so. We may have ordered too many(if thats possible), but we did snack the next day on them as well . They are definitely better the first day, and we believe they could have been even better if we had a way to warm them at our hotel, but we did not. Leonard's was on our must do list, so we are so happy we got to make it to a truck !!! We understand why family and so many reviews say you have to go to Leonard's. It's definitely worth it. The truck was quick and efficient!! Prices were reasonable !!! Taste was perfect, and the smell was mouth-watering. We just got lucky and happened to pass a truck, so we stopped and turned around . So I don't know the hours or if it's usually in that spot but so happy we passed...

On 3/8/24 My husband and I were in this area and we stumbled across the food truck and we were so excited. We just had to stop by and purchase some malasadas. 😂

Located at target 🎯parking lot towards the rear.

We hadn’t eaten lunch yet, so this was perfect to eat as a snack. We got the cinnamon sugar and the haupia. So fresh! 🔥and truly Yummylicious!! 😋

In my honest opinion, there is a difference between this one and the main restaurant off Waikiki area. This one was slightly more on the dense side (not terribly dense) which I liked. My experience at the main restaurant in Waikiki was not so great. Reason being it was not thoroughly cooked. It may have been rushed. The inside was still slightly doughy 🤮and I felt like I was eating halfway cooked dough. It was definitely not pleasant in my mouth, therefore, had to discard it.

The one from this food truck was perfecto😍. We loved it and we would return here...
