This place has one of the very best servers that can be found in the entire community. My husband and I adore curry from overseas travels so have had some of the very best and for sure the most authentic. Although the crowd was a damper (being prior service, I'm allowed to say this) compiled of a bunch of nerdo white active duty service members who may or may not have been indulging in their first beer ever, the taste of the Thai-hot chicken (red) curry was seriously incomparable to any other on the island (and I've had a lot and will stay loyal to many of them)...I am honestly sad that I switched up my normal order and got pad thai but was seriously craving noodles and dont deny my usually accurate demands...these too (shrimp pad thai) were so dead on but transferred my shrimp to his curry to savor the other flavor. I'm safe I didnt take pictures but honestly, they wouldn't have done the plates justice. A MUST try! Tried the Thai stuffed chicken wings also for the first time and even my black husband was speechless with them...mix some of the chili sauce on the table with some of the sweet chili sauce provided and a prime/perfect dip!!! Again, I must touch back down on the kid who served us, was so respectful and on top of it all every...

Located in Pearl Kai, we decided to try this place on a whim. Unassuming when you first walk in, we arrived on a Wednesday around 1 PM for lunch. We were seated immediately. There is nothing in regards to atmosphere that is outstanding but the service was impeccable. I ordered the green papaya salad and it was tasty. I would’ve liked my papaya shredded a little thinner, but it was still OK. I ordered the pumpkin curry and it was also good. Very flavorful, heavier on the coconut milk. My brother ordered the tofu pad kee mao which was loaded with thick noodles. This is probably the best pad Kee Mao I’ve ever had on the island because of this. He also ordered a yellow chicken curry and said it was good. We were not asked a spice level so when the food arrived, we asked for chili paste. I think they make everything mild generally speaking. My only complaint was there was not enough rice rationed to the curry and we ran out of that with lots of curry left over. We just took the curry home so we could eat it later. I will definitely be dining here again when...

I never write reviews but this one I had to. The food was edible, but by no means good at all. First off they missed a whole entree and we had to go back for it but besides that we got yellow curry (not sweet at all, very bland, and had lots of texture, it was more grainy than soupy), pad Thai (not sweet at all, very spicy when I asked for the least spicy, and barely any chicken at all just tiny pieces here and there), appetizer platter (chicken was soooo dry, the spring rolls were so tough and hard to eat, and the calamari was beyond chewy), and beef pho (the beef was very chewy and tough, and the broth was not flavorful at all). I’ve eaten at many Thai places across the island and they were all wonderful but this place was just disappointing. $70 wasted…we will not be...

I had been searching for a Thai restaurant on Oahu that not only had Massaman Curry, but which could do it well. I've found that place. Thai Bistro Suksabay was a cozy restaurant with a comfortable interior. Their table settings were in line with what I've come to expect from Thai restaurants; crystal glasses and table clothes under a thick plastic protector. Their food was well priced for the quality, with a quantity that more than satisfied. The Massaman Curry and their rice is all that I am able to speak for, but considering the fluffy, perfectly cooked jasmine rice and their well spiced and peanutty Massaman, I'm sure to come back the next time a craving for Thai comes on. And likely with a date.

My husband picked up the food, so I cannot comment on the place itself, but the food was delicious. Thai tea tasted a bit… smoked? I’m not sure how to describe it, but I didn’t like it as much as I usually do from other places. Although I do appreciate that it wasn’t too sweet. I got the tofu banh mi, taste was fantastic, just wish it was more filling. My husband got the chicken pad thai and he isn’t a huge fan of thai food normally, but he really enjoyed it and said it was very filling. Our total came to $42, which I feel is a little high for what we got, but I suppose it’s worth it. I definitely want to go back at some point. Very vegetarian friendly.
