Ninja Sushi — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Their fish is not of the best quality but what makes it even worse is their customer service. One time I went there (I’m a local Hawaiian guy), the cashier told me to wait outside after I placed my order and normally, I would have been okay with that. However, a customer came in after me who was a Caucasian female who was with her two children, and I watched her order and then I saw that the cashier did not tell her to wait outside for her order, but me and my two children had to. She patiently waited inside the comfortable air conditioned restaurant while my children and I waited outside in the blazing heat. Is it because I’m Hawaiian? What finally made me post a review is what happened tonight. I ordered a bunch of stuff and then when I got the total, I took out the necessary amount of money but called my son to have him count it out for the lady (he’s 9 years old). The total was $47.03 so my son gave her $48.00. She took the money, grabbed the change from the register, then looked at my son and without anyone telling her to do so, she put the change in her tip jar. My intention was to give my son the change for a reward for counting out the right amount of money but she decided for herself to keep the money. Horrible I wish I could give it negative stars.. I love going to the Ninja Sushi in Windward mall which is always fresh and amazing but I've avoided the mall because it's crowded during the holidays so I thought I'd visit the location in kailua for the first time ever. Big mistake I should have taken off when I noticed all the empty drinks stacked on top of the garbage. I ordered the T- dragon roll (shrimp tempura and eel) and an unagi donburi. The shrimp tempura was not fresh... maybe not even fresh that day and it was cold there was very little unagi on top. The unagi in the unagi donburi was heated up and tasted fatty. The rice wasn't even good I don't know how you can even mess up rice! It actually made me feel sick and I couldn't finish the food. This is terrible I've had better sushi from safeway than the pathetic reheated garbage they served me. Small local place. It would have been much better if the tables were cleaned a little and the service was more welcoming. We actually have been there few times before we started to look for another sushi place. We like giving restaurants few chances but we run into the same problems very time we are there.
