While walking by, it looked too good to pass up! Seated right away which was nice considering the Vineyard was packed this weekend! I had the fish tacos which were pretty good... The only thing I didn't know & didn't see on the description was that were hot peppers on them, which I picked off, but it'd been easier had I known they were put on, bc I'd have just requested to hold them. The fish on the tacos was amazing! Super crispy and tasted delicious! Unfortunately, I didn't like the sauce they were doused with. It was good at first, but then got sickeningly sweet, and as I finished the first of two, I couldn't eat the second one because the sauce just got to be too sweet, and normally I love sweet, it was just TOO sweet, like food sweet, not like a pastry or candy sweet if that makes sense. Next time I'd ask for the sauce on the side and if you're not a sweet sauce person, I'd Def make sure to get it on the side. I also had the drink special, Watermelon was the flavor of the day, marguerita, it was very good, refreshing, but small for the cost and hype, as I was expecting a big fancy watermelon filled drink. It was delicious though and definitely not the usual pre-measured very little alcohol and drink mix you'd get at one of those chain places, thankfully! So it made the price worth it, I just wish it was a little bigger... I'd guess it was a 6oz plastic cup, with ice, so maybe 4oz of actual drink. 8-10oz plactic cups at least would be better. The final of the meal was omg!!! The apple caramel filled churro I think they were called... Were soooo good! I got 2 with ice cream and she brought 2 spoons, for my best friend to dig in?? Lol, I told her, you may be my BFF, but if you pick up that spoon, I'm picking up my fork and not to use as a eating utensil 😉😂 I don't share well when you can very well get your own! Lol! And I ate it all with no help and no shame lol!!! And funny enough, these are the ONLY pics I took that...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with the service we received at this restaurant, and feel compelled to share my experience. From the beginning, Anastazia B, our server, provided poor customer service. She was visibly distracted by her boyfriend, who was waiting outside, and this impacted the level of attention we received.
Despite my cousin clearly stating that he is strictly vegan, Anastazia made a serious error by serving him a burrito that contained chicken. The situation was made worse when, in the middle of serving us, she left the restaurant entirely to meet her boyfriend across the street. Not only did she walk out to make out with him in full view of the restaurant, but she also failed to attend to our table during that time, leaving us without service.
In addition, when we received the bill, we were shocked to see a 20% gratuity automatically added, despite the fact that we had not been informed about this policy either on the menu or anywhere else in the restaurant. This was especially frustrating since we had arrived at different times and were seated separately, yet were charged as if we were one party.
To make matters worse, when we raised these concerns with the staff, they were dismissive and uncooperative. They refused to provide us with the name or contact information of the owner, insisting that they could do nothing to resolve the issue. The mistake with my cousin's burrito was never corrected, and no attempt was made to compensate us for the poor service or the wrong order.
While the food was decent, the service was absolutely unacceptable and ruined the experience. I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I strongly advise others to think twice before...
Read moreEdit due to the reply: mind you I was trying to ask him did he want me to take my burger to the car or if it was ok to just put it in my purse. And BEFORE I could ask, he told me I disrespected him by calling him like a dog and asked me to leave. I literally cried in the car. POST THE VIDEO! I literally was CRYING leaving out the door !!
I chose to have my bday lunch here today .. I was trying to be courteous of my guest bc I don’t eat Mexican but they do. I ordered a burger from fat Ronnie’s, I brung it with me and asked the lady at the bar was it ok to eat it there if I still ordered food. She said yes. THE ONLY REASON I BRUNG IT IN.. I sat down. The waiter then told me I couldn’t eat it. I said ok. Then I tried to asked if I ordered something could I still eat my burger( bc I don’t eat Mexican but my friends do if I just ordered something could I be able to eat a burger) he ACTED like I said “here boy.” when all I did was hold up my hand and say “excuse me” he came to the table snatched the menus and said I called him disrespectfully so I was not able to dine in the establishment. I asked another waitress to ask him to come back since I thought he might have misunderstood me or maybe just didn’t want me to eat my burger here. He didn’t listened to me explain that I meant no harm, and I was actually black and Puerto Rican, before I could say ANYTHING he came to my table and said if I said another word I’d be banned.. mind you it is my bday. I never have discriminated against anyone in my entire life and I was willing to pay my hard earned...
