Driving to O'Hare airport, Google Maps said that this place was a quick detour off I-84. What a great suggestion! Places like this need to be celebrated.

This is a sandwich shop in the basement of a multi-tenant commercial office building. Walking into the lobby, we were like, "Where is the sandwich place?" one of the office denizens walked us over and was raving about how great the food and the service were.

The hungry regulars are absolutely correct:

The food here is fantastic -- the hot and cold subs were Delicious and generous. I came with my family, and we ordered four subs (see photos), but we also sampled the pulled pork, which is authentic juicy BBQ worthy of Chicago. The potato salad is creamy with a hint of dill.

I met the owner, who also makes the food. He was a super nice guy. I really enjoyed talking to him.

The space itself is comfortable and bright, with plenty of seating. There was also a TV viewing area with a Wii sports setup, and I got to play Wii tennis - which was awesome.

If I could give this place more than five...

On this day, 12-31-2024, as my husband I reflect on GOD'S goodness and all the many ways He has blessed us throughout this year ...we will like to take this moment to Thank God for guiding us to this place of business 😇 There is so much good that we can say about our experience here at Ozzie's Primo Subs but if we attempt to mention all the wonderful details of our experience here, then our review will become a book, and we know most people just want to read a review. With that being said. Thank you Ozzie for creating a space and place that is warm and welcoming... Thank you for the delicious quality food and family friendly service that you provide...
