D'Vine Coffee & Wine — Restaurant in Oak Creek

My friends and I went to check out the place because we loved the former occupants, Three Cellars. Unfortunately for me, my two friends were served but I was never acknowledged...even standing right next to them. I wasn't asked what I would like until my she attempted to take payment from my friends and they pointed out I hadn't ordered a drink yet. I would have understood if it was busy but it was not. I have been in the service industry forever and I just don't get how that is acceptable. Maybe it's because I look young for my age which I get alot. Being a former bartender myself, I completely understand wanting to verify if someone is of legal drinking age but card me to find out rather than ignore a customer completely? Then again, who knows why she chose not to serve me. I'll never know.

Based on the Journal Sentinel article, she was one of the owners which was even more unfortunate.

I recently had the pleasure of working with DVine and Andrew Johnson to host my husband's birthday celebration after a previous local bar canceled our event. Andrew reached out to me promptly after I posted in my local group, and from there, everything went smoothly. He took the time to thoroughly explain the process, ensured we had tables set up for our food (we were able to bring our own), and walked us through their bar setup for our guests.

I just hosted my second bridal shower at D’Vine and they were both incredible experiences. Both events were held in the Den, though all of their spaces are beautiful.

The owner and staff were so attentive and kind. The owner made sure I knew I could call any time with questions.

There was a hiccup right as we were arriving to set up and the owner zoomed over. He and the staff worked tirelessly to not only fix the hiccup but also to make sure we felt comfortable while they were working on it. They were flexible in their ideas, offering different solutions as needed, and even helped us set a couple things up.

Their kindness and hospitality made for a wonderful event. It also only makes me want to support them even more on a regular basis. Work happy hours are in our future, for sure!
