Indian Delight Restaurant — Restaurant in Oak Creek

This is a review of the lunch buffet. Experiences with their takeout service may vary. Note this is a VEGETARIAN restraunt, which I have no problem with.

The Good: Good ambience, a good upgrade from their previous location. Much more space now.

The Bad: Quality and taste of the food is fair, but the selection seemed limiting. It was mainly only bean/lentil curries, and rice, the typical Indian buffet dishes like simosas, coconut based curries, or masalas we're not present. Naan is available, but served by the waiter. I would have liked to see more variety. The worst part of the experience was the cold food. The heaters on the buffet line were not turned on. The waiter was notified twice, who seemed to be confused with our notice. The heaters were eventually turned on, we waited 15 minutes and the food remained cold. Because most of the foods on the buffet are wet foods, it made it very hard to eat.

I understand this is a new establishment, but for now I cannot recommend. If I revisit this restraunt again I will update this review if things...

Had to change the stars of my review! I used to really love this place! When the owner is there, everything is good and she is always nice! But when she is not, everyone seems really unhappy and bad customer service! I was in the mood for naan and called ahead for the onion naan! Last couple times it was still doughy and inedible but i thought i would try it one last time. My husband went to pick it up and somehow she misheard me and they made paneer naan. She actually tried to argue with him about what we ordered when he was right next to me when i called! He felt horrible and offered to pay for it but obviously still wanted the onion one as well even with waiting 5 extra minutes! Also tipped which still didn't even bring a smile or a thank you. Come to find out, the onion one is burnt and inedible. I feel like we cannot win. Trying to support the local during these hard times but I don't think I'll be returning. This resturant is my favorite Indian hands down. I used to come here really often but recently moved a bit further away and unfortunately haven't been able to come as often. When I went in today to pick up my order, which included aloo naan(I always order this and tomato soup, they are amazing), the owner came out to personally speak with me to make sure I was happy with how the naan was, as she recently received a negative review about it. She was explaining how she makes the naan and that if I wanted something with more potato she had other options, but it just wasn't possible with naan. I told her that her aloo naan was perfect just as it is and it's one of my favorite things to get here. I was so sad that one person's bad review had clearly really hurt her, especially when I think her food is so good. I don't typically take the time to leave reviews, but seeing how much passion she has for making sure her customers are happy along with the top quality of food she makes, Indian Delight is truly deserving of...
