Wife and I went shopping for a mattress. Carl showed us a bed we never heard of called Intellibed. We laughed because of the price and instead of trying we tested out some other beds. We really liked the icomfort blue 1000 and were pretty close to buying it. Then Carl again told us to try the Intellibed. He said I know it’s a lot of money but it has a warranty of 20 years and will last 30 years. I said that would be like buying at least 2 or 3 mattresses as most mattresses have 10 year warranties. My wife is a side sleeper and sleep in multiple positions. I tend to like a firmer mattress and she likes a more medium feel. Carl told us that the Intellibed is made for people like us. It has a one of a kind Gel Matrix that is soft for pressure points but firm for other body parts like your back. He had a sample grid of the blue Gel Matrix. Sitting on top was a flat bottom plastic piece with two points that stick up on the ends. When he pushed down on the flat bottom side the Gel Matrix was firm and didn’t cave in. When he flipped the plastic piece over the two points both sunk in to the Gel Matrix while the middle didn’t showing that for your pressure points it will be soft. So finally we tried the mattress and my wife said she never felt any mattress that was that good on her side. I laid on my back and was surprised how firm it was. Then I went to my side and it was soft. And finally on my stomach and that felt great. We were sold. Never thought in a million years we would spend this much on a mattress. But waking up in no pain and sleeping very well is worth it. Carl was super knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We never felt rushed. We highly recommend Carl. I also had to deal with David the manager because when our mattress was delivered it was ripped on the bottom. David apologized right away and had a brand new mattress delivered 2 days later. He even called me after my delivery to ask me how it went. All I can say is great customer service! My friend and I went in on a whim after shopping for various things. Saw the mattress firm, and just took a stroll in. My buddy was interested in getting a bed... but after taxes came back around end of feb or early march. Necessary bday present to himself. Told that to the man working there, he was pleasant. He never made us feel pressured with any sales gimmicks, or anything to buy now type deals.

He asked what my buddy used now, or if that wasn't working... what was he lookin for in a bed and if any major concerns/needs. After my friend told him, and brought him to different areas... I slipped away and tried some myself. I got lucky and found my match blind luck. Laid there on a bed and messed around with controls.

The store gentleman and my friend then arrived at the bed I found. He commented on how I found one of the their most popular beds and frame combos. My friend got on.... and played with remote... found a setting he liked.... we melted... and felt no pressure on our lower backs.

He gave us all the info on the bed, and then we asked pricing and options. (I was secretly stuck on wanting to buy it too). Floorman was able to discuss both our wants and needs on different options. He even threw in pillows upon noticing how we kept talking about we need pillows like these.

He did a total care plan for both of us and even got the delivery bill split between us as we live together. We felt very taken care, and very confident in his knowledge. Even told us different warrantys and what they cover as we brought up animal concerns.

We appreciate the help and care and respect we got there. We will recommend, and go there...

Lucas gave us an absolutely amazing experience. To be honest I dreaded looking for new mattresses and just didn’t want to do it. Mattress Firm was the third store we visited. From the moment we arrived Lucas took all the dread and pressure out of the process. He greeted us and encouraged us to take our time and look around. He very clearly and simply explained the differences between mattresses, box springs, mattress covers, and pillows. He encouraged my son to lay on all the different mattresses and take his time to find the right one. Again, I just can’t thoroughly put into words how much of a pleasure Lucas made the whole process. I feel completely informed and educated, but he never made me feel like a salesman was reeling off soundbites trying to make a sale. He seemed very genuinely interested not in selling us anything, but in making sure we were informed to make whatever the best decision was for us. I was stunned at how pleasant the whole experience was. And to top it off, Lucas stayed late and kept the store open until we were done, and he never mentioned it or made is feel like we were keeping him late. I feel like my only regret is that I don’t need to buy any more mattressesnow, because he made the experience that comfortable and enjoyable. Lucas treated us as if he had known us all our lives.
