Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Oak Grove

We went there for dinner. Didn’t know they closed at 8pm but apparently they do. We showed up at 7:30. We were told they were out of most sides. We made our order off what they said was available. Several others came in after us and they still refused to make any new food except fries. After waiting 20 minutes for our food, though they didn’t have to make anything, we took our food home to eat it. My boyfriend and I got the same thing except I got Mac and cheese and he did not. Needless to say, I spent all night throwing up from about midnight all the way to mid morning the next day. I spent the rest of the day feeling I’ll and laying on the couch doing nothing. I didn’t even eat. Not sure I will ever go back. I am fearful I will get sick again. And apparently according to reviews, they like to serve old food. Guess they served me old spoiled/contaminated food. I haven’t seen any reviews where people got sick, literally, from eating there. Guess...

This Popeye's is the ninth circle of hell. Horrifying. Disgusting. Disturbing. This is where dreams of a good meal go to die. If you ordered online, good luck, and if you're trying to order in person, there's no hope for you. We ordered pick-up and it still took them 45 minutes. The staff are all greasy-haired gremlins who look like they have dirt under their fingernails and a future behind bars. There were no hair nets or gloves on a single one of them. They catch an attitude when you ask them for sauces and forks. They also prepare food incorrectly. They don't take the steps to properly sanitize the area they use for both raw and cooked chicken. Their mac n cheese looks like plain noodles with a singular slice of cheese slapped on top. And they don't even know how to blend an iced drink. So heed my warning and save yourselves: if you value your taste buds, as well as your sanity, think twice about...

Called and placed an order to go so we didnt have to wait in the restaurant. Lady who answered said let me grab a pen and paper. When she finally came back she took the order and said it would be ready in 20 minutes. When we arrived to pick it up, there was one lady standing at the counter waiting to order and not a single employee in sight. We waited for 2 to 3 minutes when finally an employee peeked thru the window in the door and came around to wait on us. When I got to the counter and told them I was here to pick up my call in order, the kid told me he didnt know anything about a call in and began to take my order again.
