I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I believe this experience warrants some feedback in hopes that it leads to improvement.
We visited this KFC on July 16, 2025, around 7 PM. The food itself was hot and tasty—no complaints there, except for the apple pie dessert, which was unfortunately served cold.
The service, however, was uncomfortable not only for us but for other customers in line as well. There were about six of us waiting, and we stood behind two gentlemen placing their order. One of them was told that the item he ordered was unavailable. The young woman (name on the receipt was Emma) at the register offered him a similarly priced alternative or a 30-minute wait. He then asked for a refund, and she told him KFC doesn’t issue refunds—this is where things started to go downhill.
The employee kept going to the back for information, returning each time with a different answer. Eventually, a manager (Hannah) came out, and instead of calming the situation, she became defensive and confrontational. Rather than de-escalate, she appeared to blame the customer, saying things like, “It’s not my fault we’re out of it—I didn’t know.” The customer asked if he could be compensated (e.g., extra chicken), and the manager refused, insisting the replacement had to be of equal value. In the end, he was forced to take food he didn’t want, clearly frustrated and without any resolution.
My husband and I, along with others in line, exchanged uncomfortable glances. The atmosphere felt tense and mishandled.
Additionally, the young woman at the register didn’t greet us or acknowledge us with a “Welcome to KFC” or “Can I take your order?” Between customers, she would leave the register to pack food without saying “please hold on a moment,” which made the process feel disorganized and impersonal.
As someone who works in customer service management, I recognize that things don’t always go perfectly. But this could have—and should have—been handled more professionally. I truly hope the staff receives training on de-escalation techniques, clear communication, and basic customer engagement. These things matter, especially when the food service is...
Read moreThis was a really interesting visit! We love KFC and after a swim meet, stopped in. My girls walked in 1st and were greeted by the girl at the front with eyes rolling and a kiss huff and OMG! Then she stomped off. I came in to order and she was rude, I thought it was maybe just me imagining it until she threw my change at me. I looked at another customer picking up an order and we both said Wow, she really doesn't want to be at work! She continued on, rude as can be, to every person walking in. It was around 830p so again, we tried to hope she was maybe just upset they close at 9p and we made them busy so close to closing but my daughter looked and nope, they close at 11p! None of us knew what was wrong with her but everyone of us were talking about it, all while smiling and doing nothing to warrant that kind of treatment. My oldest went up to grab something else and she too was met with things being thrown at her by this employee! Shame on her, I hate leaving bad reviews but this is needed! The food was alright although no crispy chicken too order and the original was dripping with grease and biscuits were so hard I couldn't eat mine. Good luck if u get this girl talking your order. It was this previous Thursday evening 6/12/25. 4 starts on food is probably 1 too many but...

Now my wife is 25 minutes late for work for what should have took in 5 minutes because she is completely furiated by this experience and once to make sure our child gets what he has supposed to have had in the first place part principal and because it's just right. She still isn't back yet and I don't even know at this point if they're going to offer anything for all this trouble and for however much longer it will take because at this time she still isn't back like I said I'm going to finish with a...
