I visited last Friday evening with my family. As expected the place was busy and the two servers were doing all they could to keep up, but they had too many tables to provide good service. This is a reflection of the restaurant and not the staff. We were not told about any specials and only learned about them on the restaurant’s social media page after we had eaten. We had clam chowder, shrimp and grits, stuffed flounder, and a grilled chicken sandwich. It appears nothing is prepared with fresh ingredients or at least nothing we ordered. The clam chowder was old and tasted condensed. It was very thick and had a dark color and not creamy white as it should be. The shrimp and grits were swimming in the tasso ham gravy which completely overpowered everything on the plate. These were the highlights of our meal. The stuffed flounder consisted of a ball of crab wrapped with a fillet of flounder and drizzled with hollandaise sauce. This was clearly a premade frozen item as the crab “mixture” was the same you would receive in a premade deviled crab. But the telltale sign was the center was doughy and not cooked. When it was pressed with a fork the raw, sticky, gummy mixture oozed through the tines. There is a photo attached. Finally, the grilled chicken sandwich was raw and not cooked through in the thick part of the fillet. This is not just poor execution but a dangerous health concern. Photo attached. The fries that came with the sandwich were very good and probably the best thing we were served. As for the atmosphere, like several reviewers have mentioned, it is a very loud restaurant. With this being a small crowded space with lots of hard surfaces, it is inevitable. My conclusion, judging from our meal and other reviews, is this is probably a good fried seafood restaurant since the only fried item we received was the only good item we received. Also fried items don’t need to be fresh to be good. Do not visit this restaurant expecting freshly prepared items and order accordingly and you will probably not be...

First timers to this quaint local eatery with delicious food and great service. It was so good that we ate here twice while on vacation. The first time, we got the Crab Dip Appetizer and it was absolutely delish. I ordered the Prime Rib Special that night while everyone else got Peel n' Eat Shrimp. Ahhhmazing flavor. This is my first review without pics and while I feel guilty now, I was devouring that steak and completely forgot. Our server Lindsey told us about the Wednesday Night Special so that was our second visit. And it did not disappoint. We of course started with the Crab Dip Appetizer. We also ordered Wings, Peel n' Eat Shrimp, Crab Legs and Oysters. If you are on OKI, this is a must do, thank me later!! Go early to get your name on the first wave list, 430pm'ish ... otherwise, wait until 630pm for the second wave. This is a local favorite so it does get...

10 stars!!! This is one of our two absolute MUST dine at every time we come to the coast... Slam packed with waiting time estimated at 75-90 minutes, but barely 40min later we were seated and our server was on his A++ game... Friendly and attentive, our table had drinks and orders taken within minutes. Whomever the kitchen staff was, they were pushing plates out crazy fast - BUT everything was cooked and plated perfectly, nary a single complaint in the entire dining area that we could tell. The food was fresh and delicious! Portion sizes were more than enough and prices were not stupidly inflated... A fantastic meal and dining experience well worth it! Our server seemed to be running the entire lower dining area by himself and he didn't miss a single beat. You won't be disappointed and the wait for a table is certainly worth the...

1st time here my parents swore iits the best food. The building seems outdated and behind in times but rhe food is amazing. Staff was super friendly and fast. I would only suggest making the building nicer. If you haven't been here you got to try the crab dip it's so good do wish they gave more bread with it tho. As my family got different items I was able to try many dishes and they were all good the BBQ chicken is kinda sweet and the grouper was great the crab on top is and excellent touch. The scallops were great. Shrimp was not over cooked and perfect. As my daughter said the Alfredo was perfect she added chicken and ate it all before I could even get a bite. Over all its a must go to. Will return to this place if I ever make it back there
