Great place...like everywhere short on help. But we were in and out in a timely fashion 03/18/22 update...went to get a salad for lunch (love their salads) but got wings so I could try the "sands in the surf" sauce. It was plenty hot. If tou like HOT wings its for you. The taste is there but the heat kicked in before the full taste. I will try them again with beer today was lunch and water. But everything they have so far jas been point on ...great. If you try the wings let me know what you think. Wife had a burger and it was great. 08/01/22...wow this place is still great. I am hooked on their salad and is all the pics I have now. But a friend got wings and they were great. All the wings I have got have been great also. The burgers are great and fried pickles are awesome. Just say...everything is great. 08/18/22 some how I forgot to post about my wings. I have had the hot and regular Cheerwine sauce wings. Both were excellent but the hot wasnt hot enough for me. Great taste with heat but mild would be correct. I like hot but not real hot. The regular Cheewine sauce was great taste with zero heat. Everything we have got off the menu has been great. I dont think you can go wrong going here. Be sure to read the board as you go in on the left at hostess 10/12/22 got the hot buffalo wings...they are great..wife got chicken pie...so far everything has been really good. I still can say you got to give it a try. 01/16/23 first visit this year. Food was awesome. I got blackened grouper and it was great. Wait staff did a good job. They were busy with only 1 empty table and a couple bar stoods. Always ftiendly Tara at the bar...get a Cheerwine mule. I feel sure she can do any drink good. 03/15/23 update This place is still amazingbwith the food. I love the Ceasar with blackened chicken. Looking forward to buffalo mac next time. Tara and Zac are great...2 more I cant remeber their names...
Read moreVery nice restaurant that’s a lot bigger on the inside than you would expect. I didn’t know what to order but I finally decided on the crab cakes with a side of asparagus and Mac and cheese. My main concern was that the crab cakes would have mostly filling instead of crab meat. However, I am happy to say this was not at all the case. The crab cakes had a lot of crab in them and were a generous size for the price. The Mac and cheese was nice and cheesy and the asparagus was cooked perfectly. The “dijonnaise” sauce that comes with the crab cakes compliments them very well. I will definitely eat there again sometime because now I’m very eager to try their “Crabby Mac.”
Update 12-15-21: Went back with entire family this time and it was excellent! The chicken pot pie special was perfect, and I do love me some chicken pot pie. The coconut shrimp with raspberry chili sauce is also very flavorful. The dessert slices are also absolutely huge, so definitely a good deal👍
Update 12-31-21: Decided to go in order to try their New Years Eve Specials. Many different choices which was nice. I ordered the Crab Diablo which is basically just linguine in a spicy tomato sauce with crab meat and little garnishes of bacon and cheese. My other family member ordered the Seafood Trio which came with a crab cake, shrimp, and scallops. I was afraid the Crab Diablo wouldn’t come with much crab, but as I’ve learned before, Trabquil Harbour does not scam you on the crab meat. There was tons of it! At first it looked as though there was only some on top, but as I ate it, what I thought was possibly some kind of beef mixed into the sauce like Bolognese was actually crab meat😋. Gargantuan portion size too. I had to take half of...
Read moreWe were so excited to eat here because the reviews were great but let me tell you- everything about this place was bad! After sitting down we quickly noticed there was only one waitress for the lunch shift the day after July 4th! We sat ourselves, waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come to the table to order, then waited 50 minutes for food. More staff arrived about 45 minutes in but they were scrambling and incredibly disorganized. The family of 5 behind us waited for more than an hour for their food but we’re too nice to say anything and the table of two beside us were able to sit and eat in under 30 minutes. All-in-all the experience was so disappointingly inconsistent. If the waitress had owned up to the confusion we would’ve been more understanding but we only talked to her to order. She didn’t say another word to us the entire time. Now on to the food- my fried mahi mahi & shrimp platter was fried black (bad oil maybe?) but was surprisingly tasty. My husbands mahi mahi sandwich was thin and overcooked- it was practically leather. Our friends shrimp looked okay. I know most of this experience was not the waitresses fault but I’m still disappointed that none of the staff addressed the issue or apologized for the wait. Our bill was $75- we paid good money and got nothing in return. By the end of the experience we were just ready to get...
