Hippie Chick Granola has always tasted wonderful since the first bag I purchased over a year ago. There is a large variety of choices made from high quality ingredients (including options for diabetics and vegans) but the best part about it is the love and attention that goes into all the details. Rich and Ken, the owners, offered to let us bake with them. They gave us a tour of their kitchen. And, after I have seen all the time and detail that goes into each bag I love it even more. They truly run a small business based on a passion for their product and a love of their job. I initially met them at a vendor market on Oak Island and can honestly say now they have become my friends. I do not believe that is an accident. They take the time to get to know their customers, understand them, and help make you feel like part of the Hippie Chick family. This review is not about the quality of the granola. The granola at hippie chick is simply amazing! This review is about the lack of customer service that I received when going to Hippie Chicks to give them my money. My girlfriend and I came to the store and were not greeted. We then decided to go around and taste the granola. It was excellent! We decided to purchase. The store owner was helping another customer. She never acknowledged our presence. After standing around for about five minutes waiting to get some attention we decided to put the granola we really wanted to purchase down and walk out of the store with our money in our pockets.
