Pizza Square — Restaurant in Oak Park

The guy who took my order on the phone sounded alright, friendly enough. The inside looked like it could use a good cleaning. Nothing crazy, but didn't look like a place that takes pride in cleanliness. Could just be the floor and walls are old and losing color though, had that dingy feel. I ordered two large round pepperoni pizzas to bring to the office. Looked great. Smelled great. Tasted like mediocre bowling alley pizza. If you like mediocre bowling alley pizza, you'll probably like this place. Thin, crispy, flaky, ever so slightly burned crust. If that's how you like your pizza, go here. Excellent menu and superb food. Ordered a combo #3 large pizza with pepperoni & green peppers, cheese bread, wings and a 2 liter. The combo was affordably priced and the quality of the food for the price was surprising. Pizza was a bit greasy, but to be expected for pepperoni and had quality toppings. The dough tasted excellent and had a crispy crust. The pizza tastes good cold too. The cheese bread was indeed cheesy with parm on top and nice sauce. The wings however were the cherry on top as they were amazingly breaded and delicious. Good enough that I would order them alone just when I want wings

I will definitely order from them again and am excited to try their other menu items...

I’ve been going to Pizza square for 4 years now. When I first had them in 2018 they made a average good pizza. But this past year, the pizza quality has sky rocketed and it’s caused me to now order from them at least once a week. The bread sticks are perfect. What ever changes they did this year has made me obsessed. Their prices are also incredibly competitive and undercut most local pizza joints.

The crust has a fantastic crunch to it. Something with the sauce and the crust that’s changed. It’s incredible. I had to make a new review to highlight how incredible pizza square has become.
