No wonder why they are slow .. Let me start by saying my review might not matter but all reviews will . Beside bad reviews I've read I still decided to check it out . The first visit was ok and ordered food just fine .no warm or welcoming feeling . Food was ok average home made food nothing special but it was good . Things started to get awfully wrong and reviews I've read became more realistic when I visited the second and third time . The man at the counter was blaahhh just staring waiting to take your order then will stare at you while eating .the kitchen staff looked unhappy and probably not well treated The third visit horrible and disappointing as we drove 30 minutes to go there .when I stood in counter to order for 10 minutes waiting till employees called so called "mama " maybe the owner .she was on her earphone not caring and when she came to the counter very nasty and attitude . The lady Fatima or whatever her name is was very racist towards her own kind and very nasty attitude Just because I asked what comes on a platter twice . I asked for at least 3 items on menu and they were not available .so why Do you have the menu up . This place has 0 customer service orientation and no wonder no one eats there .
I wish I could say more or did more but guess we're in America .it would've been...
Read moreI do not think there was any breeze or Moroccan in the dishes that I ordered. I ordered a lamb shank that was cold, its broth did not match the dish. Hrira, should not be called Hrira and as far as the chicken Tagine, it had the same broth as the Lamb shank and to pay $40 for two main dishes that were not executed right, does not entice me to go back or order food again. This is not personal but if I have voiced out my opinion to the owner who sat behind the cash register, this would've been interpreted that I am a show off and unreasonable. In fact, I went to the restaurant as the result of these reviews and I am not sure if these patrons knew anything about Moroccan dishes or not but I am very disappointed, not to mention, I could not find the restaurant. I had to call its number to be directed to go inside the Apna Bazar to find the place. I am going to sit here and lie to myself that I had a great time, because I did not and I have my receipt to prove my dishes that I ordered. If you are not Moroccan, this may seem amazing food. To me (as Moroccan), this is someone failing a basic cooking class. Not fresh and not advertised right. I will not rely on positive reviews again! Will not make there again,...
Read morethis is truly my favorite Moroccan restaurant in Florida! it may not look like much since it’s tucked in the back corner of a food court area by the Apna supermarket but it’s amazing. there’s a variety of authentic Moroccan food- form Harira (soup) to couscous to tagines, there’s something for everyone. we had a Mergez (spicy moroccan sausage) sandwich ($10.99) and a Kofta (ground beef) sandwich ($9.99), each served with a tomato and onion salad + hot, crispy, salty fries. the spicy beef sausage was so good paired with the tomato and onion salad in the baguette. the ground beef was super juicy and flavorful, also paired perfectly with the tomato and onion salad in the baguette. we ordered a variety of Moroccan tea cookies to enjoy with a pot of traditional Moroccan mint tea after our meal. the service is quick and the staff is so friendly- it’s nice of them to remember their regular customers! i’ve also worked with them for catering orders- they’re very accommodating and generous with the portions which was really nice. i love coming here for a...
