I scheduled an appointment 2 days in advance with JOSE RIVERA to go see a truck. I mentioned that my intentions were trade in my car and I would refinance through my bank. I left work early to be at the location on time and upon arrival I went in the office only to realize the gentleman I was suppose to be having the appointment with wasnt there. Another gentleman serviced me and explained the other sales rep was out sick. I told the gentleman the exact car I was there to see so he walked me around while explaining he had other trucks there aswell just incase. After about 10 mins of me walking around and waiting to see where the car was that I went to see he told me it wasnt at this location. He assured me it could be brought to this location so I said ok and went in the office to go over things. I mentioned my trade in and asked how much were they willing to give me for my car. The man said he could only give me $4k-$5k in trade in value although my cars blue book value ranges from $12k-$15k with is specific information. I called the man I originally booked the appointment with and expressed the frustration to see what was going on and he gave me the same information. He explained he could not give me more than $6k for my car because "we dont make good money on trade ins". Lets think real quick.. If He gave me $6k on a car that is selling for about $17k then he wouldve made a profit of about $11,000! Had he gave me $12,000 for my car and resold it for $17,000 he wouldve made a profit about $5000. All they were trying to do was rip me off.
A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!
Didnt even bother to send me a text before hand to let me know he wouldnt be there or to let me know the vehicle was at the other dealership...
Read moreIf I could give this people NO stars at all I would! I bought a 2009 vehicle from them 6 months ago. And the vehicle from the first day I bought it started to give me problems. First that it had the Check engine light on, they fixed the issue in the 3 month warranty that I didn't have to pay, then the A/C won't cool they fixed it and I had to pay them $100 for the repair. Ok, then everything was going fine till the Axles started having problems, so, had to have that fixed. THEN the alternator left me stranded in the Damn I-4 at 7pm coming from work, got fixed aswell. And then when I had 5 months with the vehicle arriving to work (45 min from home) BOOM!! TRANSMISSION broke. My husband thought it was the clutch pumps so he replased them both, but guess what it was the transmission indeed. So I had to leave it parked at home and get rides to work till I got my new car with the damn sacrifice we all work in this country to go to work and take my 2 children to and from school!!! I call them so they can come pick up the car and they said the would call me to let me know when they was going to pick it up, NEVER GOT THE CALL, Yesterday when arriving home from work I realize it was NOT there and it had my Tag on it still, I call and they wanted to charge me to give me my Tag back which it is illegal because I bought it before putting it on that car. Told them I wasnt going to pay specially for somthing that gave me so much trouble!!! PLEASE DON'T buy cars her at this scammers dealer ship, they will take your money just to make a sale and then leave you to your luck!! Don't fall for their nice smile and...
Read moreI purchased a 2000 Lincoln LS from David at Adelsa Auto Finance on 12/31/15. Seven days after my purchase the vehicle over heated. I called, spoke with David and he offer to mail me a water pump without diagnosing the true problem of the car. The vehicle has over heated six more times. I am now unable to drive the vehicle and my son and I are now stranded without a car. I called Adelsa again and spoke with Edgar on 1/19/16 and was advised he would have to evaluate the vehicle. I explained that the car is in Tampa and Adelsa is in Orlando. I asked if Adelsa would pay for half the towing and was told no! Additionally, Edgar advised on the same date that the price of the vehicle was reduced to accommodate the problem with over heating and he can not absorb any more cost. However, the price of the vehicle was reduced to accommodate my budget of 3K to purchase the vehicle to include tax and tag.
In any case, after not being helped by Adelsa, I took the vehicle to a professional shop for proper diagnosis and to my surprise, was advised the vehicle has a blown head gasket and there was a new thermostat and coolant pressure bottle installed. These new items were placed on the car to mask and cover up the real problem which is a blown head gasket.
It is a shame that some car dealers can not be honest and up right. I will never use this dealer again and advise anyone reading this review not to purchase a car from Adelsa Auto Finance. I believe in doing the right thing and you can trust and believe this story will not stop here. My rating for this company would be a -5.
