If I could give no stars I would. Me and my friend got there for the first time giving the fact that the reviews where good to decent. We where not greeted when we got there. We were next and the seater told us that they don’t have booth available at the moment but the will have stools open soon. We said is okay if it’s the only thing available. Funny enough a booth opened first and then the seater said that she is going to sit the party of four that was behind us because they where four. The seater sat the party of four first than us, they got their server take their order and we was still standing waiting and when the stools were available the seater cleaned and walked away. Did not told us that it was ready for us so us as respect for the servers we was waiting to be told that it was ready for us. Almost 30 minutes we decided to leave and go to the iHop down the street. Yes they were very busy and I can understand a busy mind can forget but the seater stared at us continuously and did not say a word. I went there with my wife for a lunch date. We had a new server, she was alright and friendly in the beginning, but it went downhill quickly from there.
We waited for 5 minutes for our drinks, and we had to ask someone else for it.
She came back to ask if we wanted onions and bacon, I assumed she was talking about my hash browns, but she was asking about the cheese steak melt. So both our melts were steak and cheese, no bacon or onions. We didn't notice until the end of our meal.
Hash browns I asked for double scattered, extra crispy, ended up still soft. Both our hash browns were not cooked right. Saw the ticket she put it in was right, but the cook did not understand and wasn't properly communicated.
Manager or Lead, John T came over, said he would make it right, comp our meal, and remake our hash browns to go.
Our meal ended up wrong still! He did add bacon to our melts and not onions. Our hash browns were not crispy enough, and he also forgot my 2 slices of cheese.
I talked to her, and it looked like she got overwhelmed. I still gave her $5 tip for Easter.
I hope my next trip will be better because I go to the Home Depot...
Read moreA friend and I just ate there. Our waitress, Kiki. Had nicely asked us to be patient because she was "very busy" when in reality there were literally 3 tables of ppl in the entire place. Of course it wouldn't have been an issue... but after the fact, she didn't pay attention when she took our order, she forgot a plate of extra sausage, and my food was cold by the time it had arrived. My friends waffle was soggy and sent back, only to wait until completely finishing the rest of our meals for it to show up. All the while our soft drinks sat empty on the table. One gentleman actually said "today's a take your time day" I was heated! Only at the fact that customer service is NOT that difficult! Yet Kiki didn't seem to care ever so slowly moving about the cafe. . Anyways don't eat here, unless you can deal with complacent waitresses and watching a fully staffed location absolutely suck at providing their customers with a great experience. Anyways we will continue to eat waffle house because who doesn't love it? Yet I will not be returning to this location ever again! I'd rather eat shi**y food then deal with terrible customer service any day. Hope this helps! P.S....
