Read moreSearched all of google map to find a Yemeni restaurant and found Kabsah restaurant!! We walked in and noticed the people praying. What a beautiful sight. I saw the Yemen pictures on the wall and sweets in the fridge. We definitely took the traditional Arabic majlis seating instead of the table seating and ordered the chicken mandi. The rice was soooooo delicious and fresh and aromatic. Even my friend said it was one of the best rice she’s had. The chicken was soft and juicy. The Saltah was on point! Just a little bit spicy to give it a nice flavor. The lemonade was freshly made. You could tell it was real lime. I felt I was overseas! I even ate with my hand the Arabi way. While they don’t have the traditional Yemeni bread they did have naan and it was very soft and fresh and went very well with the hummus. The maraq (lamb broth soup) was perfect. We ordered kunafa which takes time to order ahead and it was so cheesy and delicious. I had a great meal and to top it off they made a big pot of fresh Yemeni tea. It was a great meal away from home and great service. They even gave me a large cup to take some tea to go. I wish I could’ve returned for another meal but I’ll definitely go back on my next trip to Orlando. Keep up the great job and great food!! I suggest if you never had Yemeni food go in and start with the chicken Mandi and maraq soup. You will discover how underrated...
