7 year anniversary, third year strait going to Ditkas for our favorite Delmonico Steak. It's a coffee rubbed basically the most tender and tastiest boneless ribeye you can find. They top it with a compound butter that really adds a nice level of flavor to the already tasty steak. My wife and I were here with our 3 year old. Nice and big booth, so she could be comfortable. This night in particular was a bit busy, the food wasn't coming out as fast as usual but the managers had already made up their mind on what they wanted to do. Brian, out of no where, like Batman, came out and professionally introduced himself as a manager after he asked how our nice dinner had been. He then had let us know that our food portion of the bill had been taken care of due to the fact that the kitchen had been having a rough time pumping out orders. This I said was not necessary and he assured me it was. Fantastic service at Ditka's Restaurant although we did wait a fair bit this time. To comp the meal is just something not many restaurants do. This is what separates top tier service the highest level of hospitality. Thank you to our very attentive server Gato. He was very professional as well and transparent as to what was going on with the wait. Thank you all who serviced my Wife, Daughter and I tonight at Ditka's in Oakbrook. Very much appreciated, it was a great experience. Although I may not be back tomorrow I will definitely be back to support a great restaurant in the near future.

Invited to a dinner seminar with high hopes at Ditka's Oakbrook. Been years since I've had Ditka's and looked forward to a great dinner. It was a slow Monday night, and a walk through the dining area provided a glimpse of da Coach. Our party was seated in the Lombardi room, outside the main dining area and provided little, atmosphere. We were welcomed and seated at our table with a pre-plated chopped salad. Unfortunately they all looked as they've been sitting for a while... iceberg lettuce, a few grape tomatoes, diced cucumbers, onions and a few croutons. There was no ranch or creamy garlic dressing as only a bland balsamic vinaigrette dressing was available. Putting the salad aside, we took in a long presentation and really looked forward to our entree choices; a Breaded Cod and Filet Medallions. Proteins were a hit, however the sides of mashed potatoes and dirty rice were dried out and tasteless. Our table finished the bread rolls and our server could not refill our basket. We made the best to eat around the starches and did find Ditka's house Red Pinot Noir and white Pinot Grigio satisfying. The raspberry sorbet was also a tasty treat to wrap up the evening. So all in all not a great meal. The helpful host and attentive staff saved this from a two star experience. Ditka's Oakbrook missed the mark on prepared presentation, would think diners would have a different experience dining in Ditka's main or bar area.

This is 2nd time I went to eat at Ditkas and I have to say that Ditka’s management does take care of the their customers. If your experience was less than perfect they will always try to make it right which mot a lot of restaurants or businesses do now a days. Let’s start Oysters were awesome , fresh and clean , by clean j mean no residual mud or sand from when they are harvested which is completely normal however these where very clean The Ribeye with the lobster tail was an amazing dish,- I got my ribeye done medium rare with a side of bearnaise which made the steak extremely flavorful , please note the sauce was not needed but I definitely will keep ordering my steak 🥩 like that ! The coconut 🌴 🥥 Shrimp 🍤 was to die for ! It was an excellent appetizer do highly recommend ! As far other Entrees I recommend it will need to be the Burger , so so so soft ! And extremely juicy it almost felt like taking a bite of an extremely juicy Japanese a5 Wagyu steak ! (Grounded of course) I may exaggerate a bit but definitely big thumbs up 👍🏼 on that one ! As Far drink 🥤 goes well let’s say they make the best Old fashioned there is! , at least compared to ones I tasted across the United States 🇺🇸, (probably 40-50 restaurants 4-5 star ⭐️) Overall service was great , very attentive and definitely will come back again !

Last Saturday four of us went to Ditka's in Oakbrook Illinois to celebrate a birthday. Let me backtrack, our friend Madelyn always said that she would die before her 68th birthday because both her parents and grandparents died before that age; she exclaimed that it was in her "genes"! So, on the day after her 68th birthday we went to Ditka's and had one of the best times we've ever experience. There were only four of us but the only seating available was a table for 7 so they offered that to us and it was a good thing. We started with Bloody Mary's, then Mike's salad and Coach's Pot Roast Nachos and finished with The Fridge Burger! Yes, we really needed that big table and had lots of leftovers. Although the restaurant was crowded we felt as though we had the place to ourselves. Our server, Amelia, helped with food selections but also had a special birthday surprise for Madelyn. The gentleman who seated us, possibly the manager, Tony stopped by multiple times to make sure that we were "being well taken care of". Tony and Amelia made our not-a-funeral lunch unforgettable. Please thank them for us and thank Ditka's for hiring the best chefs, and staff ! Sandy Abbinanti

Went to get dinner for my birthday, i have been here before but that doesn’t take away how nice this place is, and the waiters are very good at their jobs. For starters our table got the chef soup, Cesar salad, and the nachos. I ate everything on my plate!!! The nachos can be the star of the show haha I then chose the Day Boat Scallops with the risotto, per recommendation from our server (very good) i typically don’t like to branch out but that was a great choice. My date got the New York strip with a side of mashed potatoes, he enjoyed it all- wasn’t the biggest fan of the mushrooms but he typically doesn’t like mushrooms. The server then brought us dessert after he found out we were celebrating, they sang and gave me a birthday card. We enjoyed our visit and i will be back again!
