BOHEMIAN LATIN GRILL — Restaurant in Oakland Park

I've been ordering from Bohemian since they opened. My family loved the food from the first visit. Over time, however, we feel like the quality of the food has gone down a bit. Not only that, whenever we try calling to place an order, it is nearly impossible. Just today we called over 10 times and the phone just rings. Not to mention placing an order through UberEats. A couple of months ago, I placed an online order and the app just said they were preparing the food. No driver picked it up. I eventually drove there myself to pick it up since I had already paid and I let the owner know that there may be an issue between their system and UberEats. The owner says that they updated the status when the food was ready and that a driver just had not been assigned and even said that there were 4 other orders that had been sitting there for almost an hour. So there had to be some breakdown between their system and UberEats, but he simply placed the blame on UberEats instead of trying to reach out to them to figure something out. I’m sorry the food was not worth the pricing and not only that we order a chicken burrito and the rice felt like it was slimy and that’s just a sign that it’s old and now it makes sense when she told me that she didn’t have certain dishes because there closed on Sunday so they try to get rid of everything on Saturday meaning they won’t be making anything fresh… The food was cold and it was 9 of us, and we all feel the same way about the food the churrasco with tostones came as if it was in a bowl the meat was cut pieces and that’s not what we expected because they do have a menu with bowls and we did not order anything from the bowls.. We were expecting a piece of meat that way we could cut it ourselves, and the flavoring was not that great at all.. I had birrias taco I definitely had better.. Overall, we would never be going back to that place specially because of the slimy rice in the burrito and I’ve had an experience with that type of slimy rice before and it was because it was bad. No natural juices is a no for me ! Everyone felt just so unhappy with the food! to top it off one of the girls order nachos and 10 minutes later when we left we had to pull over because she had to throw up so...

I love this place. I order from here a lot. However, I was extremely disappointed with my last order. I have ordered the birria Ramen plenty of times. It is always properly packed, the Ramen and sauce apart so the noodles aren't overcooked. The quesadilla wrapped apart. The egg along with the dry cooked noodles. Always very proper. Yet this time around the noodles were overcooked in the sauce and meat, the quesadilla extremely grease from having the egg wrapped in foil along with it. WHO would do this? Also, my drink had special instructions, "very little ice, barely any. Thank you". It's as if they did it on purpose. During the weekend, they had sold out and I specifically called to ask when it would be back in store and took the time to let them know how much I appreciated their food, all of their plates that I have tried were delicious and properly packed. Until now, what a disappointment. I had waited days just to experience soggy and mushy overcooked noodles and grease quesadillas with burnt eggs, and watery tea.
