El Tio Juan Taco Truck — Restaurant in Oakland

I used to only like this place. I rather have salsa on the side for tacos at any place so that I know got the food actually tastes I don’t like to get the tacos but that’s just me. The burritos of adds are a little too salty BUT the torta and burger w/fries is bomb! Very fresh and tasty Always ask for your salsa and cebolla lol The horchata is very good, one of the best, I think it’s still 4$ for a large? ALSO Idk if it changes but to me a super used to be a double tortilla long burrito I think a lot of ppl think that’s how it is every where. Hello. This is my 1st time at El Tio Juan taco truck. I ordered a Torta de Lengua, 1 Taco de Cabeza, small horchata and a gelatina de Coco.

The taco was delicious! Loved it. The torta...is ok...this is the 1st time ever that I had a torta with mustard in it. I was not expecting that which grossed me out lol. I was only expecting lengua, crema, queso, lechuga, tomate, aguacate in it. If I knew it came with mustard I would of asked to take that out. The lengua was delicious. The gelatina is delicious as well as the horchata. I would definitely go back for another taco for sure. The ladies...

Tasty generous meat portions...was a bit wet but good. Interestingly the radish was whole not sliced and it also came with a whole cooked baby onion, a big pickled jalapeno..also whole and a few thick slices of pickled carrot. Tried cabeza and birrea. Both tasty but liked the meatness of the birrea slightly better. Excellent value for $2 a taco. They also sell Loardes ice cream scooped to order on the pickup side...
