I had my wedding ceremony and reception here over Labor Day weekend and I’m so glad that I did. The restaurant is right on the water so you get amazing views of the boats and sunset. The ceremony is held on the outside dock and the reception is inside the restaurant. We ended up renting out the entire venue, although you can reserve certain rooms for a smaller guest list. Depending on what event is happening the day before, you can store some things (like decor) there so you don’t have to transport them the day of. They have a huge parking lot, free of charge. Venue rent out and menu prices are very reasonable.
Eve is the owner and was very easy to work with, as far as selecting the right package. She communicated quickly and effectively. She was also very accommodating and understanding with any of our questions or concerns.
Our friends and family couldn’t stop raving about the awesome food, desserts and friendly staff. Brandon, the head chef, went above and beyond our expectations with the buffet menu and was very helpful and accommodating with all of our other needs. He worked with our budget and gave us food options that we were very happy with. He really wanted to make sure that the food was on point and the entire event was as stress free for us as possible. He was such a cool dude to work with!
I would suggest to have a coordinator if you have a wedding here. It is a restaurant so there is nobody on staff that is keeping time for you or giving cues to the staff to serve champagne or the bride and groom their dinner (with buffet option).
Overall, I am very happy with how the event went and am so glad they are part of this milestone in our lives! We will...
Read moreThis is an update to my review from July 2017 (below) when I gave 4 stars. My 2nd and last visit to their Sunday brunch was a major disappointment. I took a close friend to Eve's this morning to celebrate a milestone. The musician was M.I.A. Our reservation was at 11. He arrived and setup at about 11:45. OK, stuff happens. ALL of plates at the buffet were filthy. The waitress shared that they were understaffed and having a bad day. The warm butter for the crab congealed while I ate, which made us realize it wasn't butter at all. It was some type of grease or substitute made with grease and butter flavoring. The servers struggled to find a rhthym. The food was ok but not even lukewarm. Overall, this place is in over their heads. Foodservice is a difficult business but charging $100 for 2 people to have brunch and mimosas should warrant real butter, warm food, clean dishes and utensils. This place lacks quality assurance. It's frustrating.
OLD REVIEW Good food options, music and view. Would've appreciated being offered an outdoor table versus asking for it after seeing plenty available. I made reservations weeks before and we sat immediately. Didn't give 5 because servers weren't attentive enough and very disorganized. The jazz band played familiar music, which wasn't too loud. We will return at another time to give it...
