The concept of a pedal-powered boat seemed innovative and exciting. I envisioned it being similar to the brew bikes in San Jose and Sacramento, where guests power the boat's speed while the captain steers. However, upon arrival, we were disappointed to learn from the captain that the pedals had no impact on the boat's speed. This was the main feature that both my guests and I were looking forward to. Instead, the bicycle area turned out to be essentially a glorified seating and table area. The website falsely advertised the experience as "public pedal-powered boat cruises" in multiple instances.
I booked this experience for my birthday, and many of my guests flew in from other cities to celebrate with me. Having previously booked party and charter boats for my birthdays in other parts of California, I was accustomed to engaging captains. 20 of us chartered the boat just to do something different this past Saturday and we were lucky to catch some of the Giants game from McCovey Cove! Fun times were had by all!!
Going to book again and host a team event! Thanks SF Brew Boat, highly recommend for...
Read moreThe San Francisco Brew Boat is a pedal-powered sightseeing excursion that’s perfect to celebrate birthdays! It’s a 90-minute party on the water where you can pedal, chill, or just soak up the good vibes on the Bay.
Best of all, it’s BYOB (as long as it’s not glass) and you can bring snacks and treats to celebrate on the water. This experience offers the best views of the San Francisco skyline and waterfront. We got to see iconic landmarks like the Bay Bridge and Coit Tower. This was a great way to relax and experience...
