McDonald's — Restaurant in Oakland

I waited in the drive thru for almost 10 minutes and had to go inside get my food.

I drove up, waited in line, pulled up to the voice box where you order, and, nothing. A car pulled up at the other intercom, and he ordered after being asked to wait a moment. Confused I looked around, I even tried calling out to the voice behind the intercom. Still nothing. The screen shuts off and goes all black like someone just turned off that ordering lane. I even backed up and went BACK into the same one and the screen lit back up after I had backed out. This time I heard the lady over the intercom ask politely for me to hold on. Great! I was ready to order, and still waiting patiently when I see a car pull up in the other line at the other intercom and she asked them to hold on politely. Now I'm still waiting, thinking I'm going to give the kind lady my order when, nope, the person in the other line gets their order taken. All in all I've spent 20 minutes trying to order some food because I had to walk inside to get 2 sausage mcmuffins, a hashbrown, and drink. Next time I'll make it at home in 2 -7 minutes. Thanks for the great service and a reminder as to why I don't eat out that often they deserve a star because it's really hard to mess up a drink. $1 for a soda, large size) also, make sure to ask for no ice, you get a lot more and all the mc Donald's I've been to run their soda through some kind of chilled pipe so it comes out cold anyways...ice just give...

As far as McDonald's go it was top of the line I suppose? They were kind about letting me use the bathroom and it wasn't dirty or anything. They had Wi-Fi they weren't rushing me out of there are making me feel awkward for sitting there a long time not ordering anything. I believe they are 24 hours in the drive-thru. It is clean with a safe feeling there and the employees are are cool and polite. A completely random fun fact I just happened to meet two nice, well manered, gentleman there on completely different times years apart that I allowed to buy me an ice cream sundae and have a nice chat with there. Both of these gentlemen acted completely appropriately. Neither of them tried to follow or perv on me. Given the neighborhood that is very ironic to have such a clean cut, 1950's like charmingly hokey experience in an otherwise highly crime populated area! Who would think you'd be sharing a soda innocently just down the street from 16 year old hookers and the kind of activities most rap songs...

Worst experience trying to get some sweets here today. I order an ice coffee and 2 strawberry cream pies on the self machine and paid for it. When I get to the counter, they said don’t have the strawberry pies and try to replace it with apple pies. I simply ask if I can get an extra pie cause I paid more doe The strawberry pies. The manager did not even try to understand the situation and they refund me but they refund me just the price of the apple pie. I told her that I paid for strawberry cream pies and not apple pies. The strawberry pies is more. The manager did not want to understand the situation and just ask me I much I paid. I said 2 for coffee and 1.99 for the pies and she so frustrated and did not know what to do and hand me a 5 bill and tell me to leave. I don’t think she handle this right and this was a really bad experience for me. Not ever coming back...
