Mimosa 2 is a hip young spot, usually frequented by the young black and beautiful. Thursday nights they have the brunch at night menu which features a lot of the menu favorites at discounted prices. On this particular Thursday they were showcasing the musical stylings of the beautiful Stacey Angela. Follow her on the gram and catch her single OMW on KMEL... I ordered the lamb chops for $5 an order.. I was pretty hungry so I got 4 orders. I also got the fried brussel sprouts and the truffle fries(the truffle fries are not in the brunch at night menu😔). The whole order came to $37... the lamb chops are extremely delicious. Order them. You will not be disappointed. The Brussels were crispy and seasoned properly and the truffle fries were cooked to perfection. They come with a sprinkling of parmesan cheese on them which isn't too overwhelming. They got the ratio down. They may be a bit understaffed, as there was only one person behind the bar taking orders and mixing drinks. Now even though it wasn't super busy, this dynamic made for a bit slower of an experience than I was expecting hence the 1 star deduction. As I said before, the crowd was young, black and beautiful. The art displays in the venue are awesome. It's a place to bring a date or even a place to pull up single and maybe meet someone new. I will definitely come again, especially on a...

It was still really early for anyone to go to a club before 7pm. When I got there they only gave her the tiniest table but we needed more space for people and took 15 min or more for them to decide what table or if they even wanted to. I felt like they were waiting for us to get frustrated and leave but bday girl who lived close to here wanted to try it as she saw people eating and enjoying themselves before. There were tons of tables, like it was only 15% or less full. Food was OK but super rich, tiny, and expensive. Food came quick but no service after that. Long wait for anyone to check if we needed anything and then suddenly 3 people came to clear all our plates and dishes. Asking for water they have is disposal cups feeling like a to go, they had glasses. Clearly it's not a place to go for a meal but meant for hard alcohol and club vibe. I guess to order food just to snack or meet old covid requirement to serve food if they want to stay open selling alcohol. When trying to get out of there took a while because the waitress could not be found and eventually seen just hanging at the end of the bar. I do not recommend this place at all and didn't feel like we...

I recently dined at M2 with a group of four, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food left much to be desired. The fries were cold, which was a letdown right from the start. I ordered the buffalo wings, and they were completely dry—definitely not what I expected. To make matters worse, they were stingy with the condiments, which didn’t help the situation.
I also tried the crab mac and cheese, but I didn't taste a single bit of crab in it. It felt like I was just eating plain mac and cheese, which was frustrating given my expectations.
As for the service, our waitress could have been more attentive. She would occasionally check in to see if we were okay, but it felt rushed and impersonal.
If you’re considering M2, I would suggest going only for drinks and the vibe, if that’s what you’re after. However, for food, I can’t recommend it. With an expensive bill and such poor quality, it just wasn’t worth it.
Overall, a disappointing experience. I...
