Pros: Helpful, friendly Staff Small patio in the front (dogs allowed) Cozy intimate space inside - if that's your pref (no dogs allowed to stay, but OK if you're browsing) Snacks
Cons: Just OK wine. Asked for help choosing some roses and whites, but 2 of the 3 lacked flavor (I never say this, but really one was just a step above water) and the 3rd was decent, but not memorable. Had to ask for a receipt. (Minor, but annoying if you want to remember how much each bottle cost, and post-drink -- if it was worth it)
Would give it another chance if I'm in the area, but Bay Grape has a much better selection IMO.

Read moreCompared to wine bars I’ve visited in the past, this staff isn’t very helpful. I’ve been here numerous times and only one guy has ever offered tasting notes, suggestions or recommendations on what to try. They are almost downright rude in their dismissiveness. I’ve never experienced this before, as most wine staff are enthusiastic, sometimes to the point of being overwhelming.
I do appreciate the parklet. It’s nice to have outdoor seating on a nice day. But with the overall vibe, I’d rather go to one of the many, many other wine bars in Oakland. I prefer being around people who are warm...

They don’t have heat lamps so bring a warm jacket if you plan on sitting outside and it’s a chilly evening.
Lastly, this could just be me but isn’t all wine “natural” wine? If not, please educate me! You can dm me on instagram at...
