Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Oakland

I’ve been coming to this location for years and I’d usually get the lunch Buffett special. I’ve asked for them to make certain pizzas for the buffet but I was told NO however I’ve seen them do it for others that’s not my race and even yelled out to the customer that the pizza they requested was ready. I was told that since I only eat the toppings and not enough of the pizza crust I can’t eat buffet anymore. First off it’s a BUFFET right and how do you tell a grown paying customer HOW they should eat 7-8 smaller slices of pizza they use in the UNLIMITED buffet that they paid almost 20 dollars for? All this time it hasn’t been a problem till today. I asked the cashier that told me this for her name and she said Kajol but when I asked for my receipt it says Riya and I asked what’s that’s about and she said she has two names. I felt discriminated against and that she was playing games but I don’t play though. I asked for managers name and she said she can’t tell me the managers name. This place is a JOKE and I would say go find pizza elsewhere as this location has just lost a customer that patronized them at least 2-3 time a week. UPDATE 8/8/24 I see after this review the owner replied saying to email so this can be made right. Well I sent the email BEFORE I did this review and guess what? NOPE not one person reached out to me regarding how I was treated so they just respond to make it look like they care but they really don’t that’s just damage control. I will NEVER return to this place. Round Table here I come. These folks are so PETTY they actually WATCH how you eat what you’ve PAID for. Absolutely fantastic experience at Mountain Mike’s! I recently tried their new cheeseburger pizza and garlic knot knots, and I have to say, it was the best thing I’ve had in a long time. The cheeseburger pizza was loaded with beef and bacon and had a perfect balance of tastes, while the garlic knot knots were a delightful, savory treat. The quality and customer service really stand out. Highly recommend this place in downtown Oakland if you’re looking for something unique and delicious.

BEWARE!!!! THIS( MOUNTAIN MIKE'S PIZZA)🍕 IS TERRIBLE!!!! I purchased a LG- 3 Toppings and it was (HORRIBLE.. IT IS DRY NOT ENOUGH SAUCE HARDLY ANY CHEESE) 1 so I called the restaurant on Webster and let them know what me and my guest thought and I was told that they measure their cheese their sauce, their meats, their vegetables. In other words, they make sure you get the bare minimum each and every time now I have been watching mountain Mike's commercials constantly and they show that they always use the best of ingredients and filled everything to the edge which from this mountain Mike's on Webster was NOT TRUE. AND TO MAKE IT WORSE THE MANAGER I TALK TO MADE IT SOUND LIKE EVERYTHING WAS NORMAL EVEN THOUGH I KEPT LETTING HER KNOW IT WAS TERRIBLE I WOULD NOT GO JUST MOUNTAIN MIKE'S IF IT WAS THE LAST PLACE ON EARTH TO EAT I SUGGEST NO ONE ELSE DOES EITHER.. ....!!!!!
