Parliament Event Venue — Restaurant in Oakland

One of the worst places I've ever been in my existence. I did not enjoy my time there. The security is extremely rude. Even if you have passes or tickets they don't want to let you in. It seems like a scam honestly. I purchased entry to Parliament with COVID certificate and ID and stood outside in the cold for an hour before I gave up trying to get in.

The security is the WORST. They should all be fired. Yes ALL of the security is steaming hot garbage to the highest degree. They wreak of stink. Their music was nice, but enjoy listening to it from outside the venue in whatever elements the weather throws at you that day because security may or may not let you in. I went to a Halloween party there and they wouldn't even let me wear my full mask but they let others wear half masks from a nose down or from the nose up??? The security kept shining their lights and people's faces. Someone in my group lost their wallet the same night and was asking the security guard if you can take a look. The head security guard or "doorman" laughed in his face and said you won't find it then proceeded to yell out loud to non-employee strangers did anyone find a wallet on the floor? If the strangers didn't know that there was a wallet on the floor then they did then... SMH. The place is decent but some of the guards suck! If you want to feel like suspect go to Parliament...

We went to Parliament last night for dinner and drinks. After we ordered the server indicated we must put a credit card on file BEFORE we would be served our food. In my opinion this is poor customer service, as it's presumptuous that we (2 Black Men) would not pay our bill after we have eaten. I would have thought the owner/manager would have tried to intervene for customer retention (especially during theses Covid19 times), but the establishment stuck to their policy and watch us leave.
