In my fifth attempt at this establishment, I was initially impressed by the best friend chicken sandwiches I had in a while. However, the consistency of the food has been inconsistent over the past three visits.

On the most recent occasion, I ordered a meal and returned home to find that the first bite of my sandwich had dislodged the chicken filling, leaving it on my shirt and pants. The chicken breading had separated from the chicken, resulting in a soggy and uneven texture.

Considering the price of two meals around $50, I would expect better quality food. While I am not criticizing the establishment, I believe that the chefs need to improve their food preparation skills. As a chef with 18 years of experience, I can create a consistent recipe that remains intact and appealing. I was somewhat disappointed that my sandwich today resulted in so much food waste, didn’t feel like it was made with love just rushed .

Had the hyphy chicken sandwich and garlic fries. Damn it was good! I like spicy but it bordered on a little too hot for my taste, so maybe I'll get it without jalapenos next time. The sauce they make for it is crazy good and has its own spice. The garlic fries were great too.

I have to say though, the wings we ordered were shockingly disgusting lol. They made the wings with lemon pepper seasoning and then tossed them in some BBQ sauce. They actual chicken was awesome -it was cooked perfect and these were actually the biggest wings I've ever seen- but the lemon pepper wasn't good on wings and the sauce actually tasted toxic. I'm not trying to be funny or insulting, but whatever BBQ sauce they put on it tasted like corn syrup and chemical.

Look. I just ordered this on DoorDash. I had it delivered all the way to Richmond. Every single item was correct. It was still warm, fries still crispy, cheese still gooey. So good. No joke I stopped halfway through writing this review because I needed to go take a few more bites. I got the Hyphy Chick and the Sideshow, garlic fries. The Hyphy is a thigh not breast sandwich just FYI.

Everything is/was incredible (I’m shoveling garlic fries at this moment). It seems like they really care about their food. You know what that’s like?!! To have someone care about a delivery order?!! It’s like asking a good friend to keep your secret because you know you can trust them. And they keep it, because they care. And Sideshow cares about their food and customers. Next time I’m gonna eat there so they get all my money instead of DoorDash. Great food! Thank you to whoever cooked me this insane banger double...
