Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Oakley

Pizza’s always good, but that’s just Mt Mikes. Got here at 8:00 pm, figured that’s plenty of time since they’re open until 9:00. WRONG! First thing, the girl tells us, “Just want to let you know, we’re only taking to go orders.” ??? “Ok. Can we get the Mountain (x-lg) combo and…?” “We only have small, med or lg.” ??? “Ok. Lrg then. And can we get 2 salads?.” “Sorry. We just cleaned out the salad bar.” ??? “Ok, then just the pizza and a 2 liter soda.” We go sit down. I figure the pizza will be in a to-go box, but we can still sit at the table and eat since it’s only 8:15 and there’s still a couple people at tables watching the basket ball game on the t.v.” WRONG! A couple minutes later, half the lights are turned off, causing the people that were there to get up and leave. ??? 10 minutes later the guy sets the pizza on the table. No thank you, no napkins, no Parmesan cheese or crushed peppers and doesn’t ask if we want any and no soda! ??? I go up to the counter, ask for our soda and some parm cheese & peppers…. He gives me the soda and hands me 3 packets ea of parm & peppers. ??? I ask for more…guy gives me 3 more of each. Really??? We walk out and the guy locks the door right behind us. ???. Guess they close at 8:20. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! We’ll NOT be back there...

If I spend $40 on One pizza pie it should be special and it was not. I got the Mount Everest which is supposed to be stacked with everything. It lacked all flavor, l mean go to melo's Pizza & order a pizza with those ingredients This had half the meat that the picture indicated that it would have been ok but even then to make matters worse the meat had no flavor if I was to buy this at Melo's every piece of linguica would taste like linguica and pepperoni, pepperoni. This just tasted boring and required a lot of salt and garlic just to get it to taste reasonable.

On top of that at 1:30 p.m. The person handling the transaction was rude and rushing my decision, I'm positive it was the same person that handled pick up. I could tell when he refused to deliver it during the ordering because he said it would take an hour and a half to deliver but I can pick it up if I wanted in 15 minutes what a bunch of bull the place was dead there was no one in there no one checking cleanliness or mask-wearing on the way in. No offer of condiments or napkins or a bag or help out to the car since I had two really large boxes... Suffice to say the service was terrible.

Yeah this place was pretty disappointing, I still might change it to 1 star, and I will not be back...

I eat there at least once a week. Manager is very friendly despite what others would have you believe and he even lowers the price on my orders for being such a frequent customer. Also they have only ever gotten my order wrong once in like 3 years or so of eating there pretty much every week often times more than once (it was a new employee taking my order over the phone and they were very busy at the time so pretty much what you'd expect anyways). Really don't get all the crap this place is getting from some people. Believe it or not they get really busy sometimes and have trouble doing everything at the same level of quality they normally have with their small staff of like 3-6 people (but that doesn't happen often enough to warrant hiring more...
