Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Ocala

I admit it. I find it difficult to give any fast food joint a higher rating than a "3"... So giving Zaxby's a 3 is a pretty good rating for me.

Breaded, deep fried chicken. All white meat (in appearance anyway), served as planks, tenders, on sandwiches and on platters with sides. Not a lot of complexity or depth to the menu. A few sides, including fries, of course. A couple of basic deserts.

The chicken is tasty. About on a par with, say; Popeye's, or Churches with regards to their boneless, formed offerings. Not as good as Chic-fil-A. I noticed that in a national survey, Chic-fil-A placed 7th in a list of the top fast food chicken joints. Just goes to prove that folks will eat just about anything as long as it is dirt cheap.

Anyhow, we went to the one in Ocala, as it happens. Staff was courteous and service was prompt. Joint was clean and tidy. Food was hot and tasted pretty good. We may likely go again at some point

Not too bad as fast...

Ok. So I give it 5 stars. ( With a tiny hint of room for 8mprovement.) I am new in town. 2 weeks...I was told this location has excellent service. I have never heard of Zigsbys..my friend loves it I love it too. Now 😎 The order on line was 3asy to place the order was ready for pickup within 3 minutes of suggested time. Very impressive. My food was hot the fries were in great shape and goodtemp. ( Saint hey we're not. Not at all ziggy) I loved being able to place a small salad instead of fries as a healthier choice. Small reasonable upcharge The food was packed efficient. Soda had right amount of syrup to co2 ratio. Everything was nearly perfect...with a tiny oversight.a small cup of coleslaw. And when I went insight I received prompt attention and the lady apologized and corrected the issue. My overall impression. Friendly, efficient and good food. Thank you Zaxby's for a great safe 1st time order. I recommend...

I like the guy outside in the drive through, he's always so nice and funny, but when I get my actual food at the window, a couple times my salads were old and the lettuce was turning brown, and today, they didnt give me any salad dressing. I'm usually on my lunch break when I go, and have no time to go back and get salad dressing, especially now with the holiday traffic. I'm very disappointed that every single time I go, either my food isn't fresh or I'm missing something. The employee at the window needs to make sure that everything is in the bag before handing it out. I checked my bag before leaving, but didnt realize they didn't give me any salad dressing. It's ridiculous to have to check the bag every single time to make sure everything is there. This is the last straw for me. I'll have to get my salads...
