I typically don’t review places but I have to today. We went to Easy Street and spent a couple hundred dollars on bracelets and the arcade for our 9 year olds birthday. We have two main, important complaints. Gokarts have a no bumping rule that they “enforce” there were teenagers wrecking my 9 year old and other people- when they wrecked me they asked who had done it and told me they’d “keep an eye on them” but they were allowed to keep doing it for well over an hour, so my 8 year old wouldn’t do it again because it wasn’t safe and he was scared. That’s unacceptable and rules should be enforced to upkeep safety. The Arcade and service is AWFUL. My child spent a deal of his card on the claw machine where you caught tickets and instead of dropping them and you getting them out they “loaded to your card. My kid won probably 800 tickets but I noticed even when he dropped two or three in there, it only said 25 tickets were added to his card. I went and got an attendant and she was like yeah sorry nothing I can do. Go play the bigger one where it actually gives you the roll. (The one that costs more than 2x as much). I expressed extreme unhappiness about how much money we spent and my sad child- feeling like something should have been done to correct his tickets. The girl said “My management is going to tell you you’re out of luck too so I won’t even go get them- I can round his 163 tickets up to 175.” In my opinion this is horrible customer service and is so disappointing. I would NOT recommend spending your time...
Read moreEasy Street is a super cool spot to take the kids and have a fun day. We've been here 2x now, both times on Veterans Day when our kids are outta school. We opted for the 3 hour pass the times we were there. The go-karts are the top attraction. These things have decent speed and handling and the track is a nice, long, winding track through trees and back. You have to be a certain height to drive, but smaller kids can be passengers. When you get 5-8 carts going all at the same time, it creates a fun race. The batting cages are next in line, for our family. You buy the coins and then have options from slow to fast pitch baseball and softball. Just so you know, the medium speed baseball is pretty fast, in my opinion. I think you get 15 pitches per coin and 3 coins per 6$(not certain though). The rock climbing wall was fun for the kids too. The day I was there they were only using one lane so the boys raced the clock instead of each other. Putt-putt golf is a nice long course, but, I'm not much of a fan. It's something to do, but the course needs attention. At the least a blower to the course to clean off all of the debris would help. There is a good sized arcade too, but we didn't spend much time there. Arcade games waste a ton of money, IMO, and the tickets to get the cheap little prizes aren't worth it. If it were up to me, we'd stay on the go-karts all day. All in all, this is a good place to spend some QT with the kids. They have party set-ups and...
Read moreDriving through Ocala and decided to check this place out. It wasn't super crowded from the looks of it but we just figured it was due to time of day. As soon as we walked in the smell of sewage hit us in the face. This smell would linger throughout our entire time there. There didn't seem to be a lot of redemption games. I'd say it felt about 50/50. A few games were also broken, which cut down on the options. Prices weren't terrible, but for such little selection it was a bit of a bummer. There was lots of trash around the area as well. The redemption area seemed to be a bit overpriced for the amount of redemption games, prices, and jackpots. I definitely had higher hopes for this place but perhaps the main appeal is the batting cages or go karts. Ultimately glad we got only a $25 card and we usually spend $50 or more but something told me not to this time. Glad I trusted my gut.
Edit: Visited again on June 15th, 2022 since I was in the area. Tried out the batting cages this time and enjoyed them. $2 gets you 15 pitches. The smell of sewage was gone thankfully, but other than that no real improvements. Prizes are still overpriced as are the games. Jackpots on most games were set low as well. Staff were super friendly though, so improving my review...
