My husband took me to Reeds Jewelers in the Paddock Mall to look for a new setting for my engagement ring as a 25th anniversary present. The manager, Lynette greeted us right away. When we told her why we were there, she congratulated us and then took us right over where the settings were. My husband told her what he was looking to spend and she took out a few settings for me to look at and try on. I fell in love with one setting almost immediately. She let us know that my stone was able to be set on that particular setting. She did not make us feel pressured nor did she try and show us settings way beyond what we wanted to spend. I had also brought one of my diamond tennis bracelets there to see if it could be repaired. She looked over that bracelet with an electronic microscope, link by link and confirmed it could be repaired. When we went back a few days later to pick up my ring and bracelet, I was absolutely pleased! My engagement ring in its new setting is beyond gorgeous! I was also absolutely amazed at the work they did to repair my tennis bracelet which had been a wedding present from my husband so you can imagine my delight that I could wear it again. You will not be disappointed with Reeds jewelers….whether you are there to buy Pandora jewelry or diamonds. My fiance' and I drove from Dunnellon Fl. to the Paddock Mall in Ocala Fl. (approx. 25 miles) to purchase a new, longer Pandora serpentine bracelet, to replace my Fiance's 1.5 year old serpentine bracelet which was becoming too tight on her wrist due to adding more Pandora charms over the last year. It was Saturday, December 17th 2022, and just a few days before Christmas, so we expected a crowd. We waited in line for approximately 20 to 25 minutes. We were assisted by a young woman. During the sale, we explained the need for a new bracelet and a "clip" to keep the charms separated. The sale, in general was fine, and the young lady was very helpful. But a short while later, when we inquired about the free Silver or Rose gold bangle that had been advertised on TV, we were advised by the salesperson that they had run out of them and that we would not be receiving one, even though we spent $165.00 on the two pieces. We were both extremely disappointed with this information, since that was one of the main reasons why we made the drive in the first place. In addition, I wasn't even offered a box for the new bracelet. I can only assume that it was because my fiance' was actually wearing the bracelet at the point that it was purchased. I had the most amazing experience yesterday (May 24th, 2025) at your Ocala store and wanted to share that experience with the world. The purpose of my visit was to get 2 wedding rings and 1 engagement ring checked for loose stones and to get them cleaned. In addition, I also needed one of the rings smaller as the wire ring sizer that had been put on years ago by another place was not effective, as the ring was top heavy and kept turning to the side. Lynette greeted me with a huge, friendly smile and was very eager to assist me. In addition to her cleaning the rings I requested, fixing the sizing issue with soft beads, she offered to clean the other jewelry I was wearing and all for FREE! In her thorough examination of the rings, she discovered a small problem where one of the prongs holding a stone was not in the correct position. Although she came across as very credible, she showed me the problem under a microscope. I am most appreciative of her attention to detail and discovering the problem. I will return to the store in the near future to get the prong issue resolved as the jeweler was off that day.
